Picture is deceiving ... UPDATE AVAILABLE
MUCH smaller than I had anticipated. However, usable for lighter weight materials.UPDATE: After posting my dissatisfaction with this item, I was contacted by the company. There were several PLEASANT email exchanges, with some suggestions on how to better present their item so that the sizes are more noticeable and accurate. I was also sent replacement clips in the correct size which was a pleasant surprise. This was one of the most PLEASANT and yet constructive customer service exchanges in a VERY LONG time. I would DEFINITELY purchase from this company again, and do hope they use the suggestions made in their presentation of their clips.

better than using pins
I really liked using the clips instead of using straight pins. They held my seams together and I just removed them as I got closer with the sewing machine. I know you can sew over straight pins but I don't for fear of breaking a needle so these clips work well and are easier to use and I don't stick my finger on the sharp end!!!

good little clips. easy to use, good grip, great value
clips are so much more convenient than pins. plus this came with a lot so you can clip the entire border of a smaller project and no pin holes or grip marks. also has good grip power for my needs, i use cotton for mini projects and quiliting. no problems so far. love them!

Great product!
Tight enough that most fabrics do not slip! Multi layers of heavier fabrics will require heavier duty clips, but these are perfect for every day use. Higher quality and tighter closure than other brands and products I’ve used. Would definitely recommend.

Work very well
These are great, and so much cheaper than they are in local stores.

Sewing Clips
Just what I was looking for. They seem to be really well made and were at a decent price. If you have arthritis you may have a little difficulty pinching them open. But I really do like these and was very excited to get them.

Why did I wait so long to get these?
These clips work really well for my current projects. I'm not sure they will always be the best solution for some of my sewing needs, but for making masks they work great! Durable, easy to use, small and easy to store.

Yes, you really do need them.
I've only used a handful so far...but why the hell did I hold out long?! Oh I know because I wasn't paying $20 for half the amount I got for $6. ☺️Happy sewing mama I am!!Update 8 months later... about 10-15% have broke. :/ still worth the price but I feel Guilty about wasting the plastic. 😖

Awesome
Super useful, I've ordered another package twice because I don't have enough.Don't get rid of your pins, because there are some things that clips can't do, when you need to secure fabric away from the edges, but where they work, they work great. They can also be heavier than pins, but that's rarely problematic for me.Way easier to use than pins, easier to find when you drop them on the floor, and not painful when you poke yourself. I might buy some more sizes, soon, but the basic size is pretty versatile.

Too difficult to pinch open
The metal parts were so tight/strong, the clips were difficult to open. I pinched to open them and I had to squeeze hard. Some were so tight I had to use all my concentration to force them to open. Great if you're looking to workout your fingers, not so great if you want to mindlessly use them to grip your fabric. I didn't even try using them to sew, but can imagine it would slow the process when you're at your machine and have to work to remove them as you go. A handful of the 60 in my package worked well, but it wasn't worth the money for so few working clips.

Random Colours
Other than accidentally ordering the smaller set (my fault), the clips are great. A minor thing is the fact that they're just random colours. It doesn't really matter, unless you were trying to colour code your project. The clips themselves are good quality and exactly what I expected.

Cheap plastic breaks easily
The plastic is quite cheap and brittle. I broke 3 of them the first time I used them. After the first one, I thought maybe I was opening them too wide or too quickly, but nothing I did seemed to help. I was only clipping two layers of fabric, no batting.I don't expect them to last long. It's unfortunate, because the tension on the spring is great and when they don't break, they hold the fabric in place quite well.

Stoked about these little clips!
Stoked about these little clips! Goodbye finicky, stabby little sewing pins, and hello easy clips. My Prime delivery also FINALLY arrived within 2 days. The plastic blister packaging that the clips came in was dirty inside (full of dirt and hair and grime), but since it came on time I'm not that stressed about it. I counted them and there are indeed 60 clips in my package. I like that they have marking lines on the bottom of the clips so you can measure how far your fabric is from the clip edge. My packaged has red, yellow, green, blue, purple, and pink clips. These things are so much easier to use than sewing pins!
