I had been thinking about cutting my own hair for some time - I have a buzz cut -but was too unmotivated to try it as my wife was hesitant about helping me. The covid hit, and I purchased this trimmer with a view to trim my unruly hair which was longer than it has been for several years. The first effort was comical - I tried it without a mirror - but I was able to convince my wife to help me and it looked serviceable, which was fine since I wasn't meeting anyone in person who would possibly be critical. As we've gotten more experience with the unit the cuts are as good as the barber and the unit has already paid for itself a couple of times over, not to mention the time saved in driving to the barber - 20 minutes one way - and the potential to wait in line. I have straight black thick hair which this unit handles well., although it does take a couple of passes to get it level when my hair is long. It does very well trimming around the edges as well - my wife has become quite the hairdresser! It also is very easy to clean. I have not used most of the attachments and can't comment on those, I use the #2 hair length which does quite well for me. I would buy this item again and recommend it.

So far this has worked well for me. Mostly using it for the brows, but with so many attachments, I imagine this could meet most needs. Quiet and effective.The only gripe I have about this is that the packaging. It comes with a thin plastic tray that nicely holds all the cutting accessories, but it really ought to have a spot for the charger! I just spent two frustrating hours trying to find the charger. I guess the upside is that I've had it well over a year now and for simple brow and side burn trimming, it lasted the entire year on a single charge!(Yes, thankfully I FINALLY found the charger, but not before contacting Braun to see if I could find a replacement! Sheesh.

This works fine as a beard trimmer. I don’t love how the the guard adjusts—it’s a little tricky to make sure you get it set to the right length. It also is definitely not a “one pass” trimmer; it takes more back-and-forth and patience than that. But it trims evenly, the guards trim true to length, and I like how compact it is for travel etc. I’ll probably get something more heavy-duty eventually and just use this as my bring-along for long trips, but for now, it’s fine.

I used this product for about six months. It worked as described as a beard trimmer and grooming device. The trimmer was ergonomic and easy to use. No issues with craftsmanship or quality. After about six months of regular usage, the trimmer was unable to hold a charge any longer. It was still functional however, it had to be plugged in to be used. I suspect this is isolated to my particular trimmer. I still believe it is a quality product. I just had an issue with battery life.

I got this kit to give myself haircuts during the first year of the pandemic. I continue to use it as I have slowly learned to cut my hair more skillfully. It has other attachments that can be used for shaving and grooming body and nose hair. It paid for itself in four months.

I bought this to trim my beard and mustache. The one thing I neglected to notice was that there is no head for final 'detailing'. Instead, there is a manual device to provide the same thing. My problem is that I have not used any kind of manual device to provide the final, smooth detailing and I am old and have not used any kind of manual razor for over 30 years. My fault, but a detail to check if you are like me.

The trimmer itself works great, and does everything that I could ask of a set of clippers. Unfortunately, I didn't start to use the product within the typical product assistance window however, and I only just realized that my trimmer did not come with a charger! My battery just died, which renders it practically useless to me now. I will say that this is proof that the original charge of the razor has obviously lasted quite a long time (approximately 1 month into using the razor lightly a few times a week, and three months after actual purchase date). Hoping that the product customer service can help me out on this one.

This is easy to handle, and it holds a very decent charge. The clipper attachments cut like a champ. The attachments are very easy to swap out, as well. As far as the combs go, I've only used the smaller of the adjustable ones, but it's easy to adjust and stays at where you set it. I find it strange to say that I "enjoy" using a beard trimmer, but I enjoy using this beard trimmer.The only reason I've given this product 4 stars instead of 5 is that it comes with the Fusion razor, something I don't need, don't want, and would rather have not paid for.
