These are easily long enough for my husband, who has a size 38 waist. The mechanism to keep them shut is strong as well. I wasn't expecting much given how cheap they are, but they're great.

Very pleased with these indeed. Quite a number of similar products available, some with metal buckles, some as these with durable plastic buckles, ideal for going through airport security which was what I particularly wanted. These seem no better or worse than the others but are far and away the least expensive with the whole set of five different colours at a fraction of the cost of the others that come in ones or twos!!

I was a little skeptic in trying to find a quality belt on Amazon. I purchased these Cosco pants and shorts, and all the plastic buckles on their belts are breaking apart. So I needed a quick replacement. I saw this product and noticed it had great comments and a good rating. With a reasonable price I figured it was low risk to order the 8-pack. I was more interested in black, gray and green belts, and didn't really have a need for the other colors. But when the price is great, I figured it was worth it. Maybe I can repurpose the other belts for something else? So when I received them, I was really amazed that they did in fact seem like quality plastic and material. With them closed, I tried pulling them apart (with reasonable force) and they held together no problem, not even slipping a tiny bit. Wow, amazing!! I have worn several belts for a few months now and I am 100% satisfied with everything!! The quality, the plastic, the material, how they easily fasten, that they don't slip. And by now, I trust they will endure for a long time. Note that I'm not skinny (a little overweigh [5' 9" at 245 lbs]), so I was afraid I would end up with belts that are too short/small. But no, these fit really well. So I do recommend this product. Recommendation to seller: Why don't you sell individual colors, with a discount if you buy multiple? But have an 8-pack of more 'neutral' colors like black and grey? Who requires blue, brown and white? I would assume some do, but they probably won't want the green, black and grey? Anyway, you get the idea!!

Every once in a while in my Amazon shopping experience I have had the pleasure of getting a truly fantastic deal. This is one of those times when I wish I could give the product six or seven stars. The belts are clearly sturdy and well made. While I have never used the plastic clasps before they seem to be substantial and up to the task. The colors are great - and the fact that you get eight belts for what comes to a bit more than two bucks per belt - each with its own matching clasp - is nearly beyond belief. Canvas belts have been my go-to choice for casual wear for many years and these meet or exceed the quality of any I've ever had. They usually last me for many years, but after a few years the clasps inevitably get scratched and worn and the canvas eventually frays. I think the plastic clasps are a definite improvement as they are certain to keep their clean appearance longer than metal, and the fact that I won't have to remove my belt anymore at airport security is a definite plus. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this purchase. The product is in every way more than I expected or could have even hoped for. They also have my wife's seal of approval and that is always a plus. I will recommend these to anyone without hesitation and can only add that if you pass this up it will be a shame. And just for the record - I have absolutely no ties to the seller or the company, I paid full price for the product, I've never shilled for anyone and I'm not a bot. Just a very, very happy customer.
