Abide in Christ Paperback – Import, 5 February 2019

This book is helping me to understand the practicalities of my faith.Outside of Jesus we can do nothing.You might think you are doing well on your own strength. But complete dependence in Christ and the presence of the LORD is another level, nothing can compare.This book is in OLD ENGLISH.It’s a gem to listen (I have it on audible too) and read the original from 1888 after reading the modern English version (I find it easier to understand).This is a study book FOR LIFE if you are a Christian.

I purchased 5 as gifts, everyone is well pleased and using it.

My favourite Christian book, God has used it greatly in my life but the quality of this printed copy is very poor. Cheap pages which curl up.

I like that it's daily devotions because this is a reprint from 1888, so I am reading it slowly and re-reading it in parts so I can let it soak in. It is a deep read of a book for sure. If you can handle the KJV of the Bible or even Oswald Chamber's style of writing you will really enjoy this. Lot's of ponderings from Scripture to ruminate over about learning how to Abide in Christ and not just how to, but how to train yourself to want to "take His yoke upon you". I'm only on day 3 but looking forward already to each morning's reading.

Great, easy to read devotional because it’s broken down into 31 chapters designed to read one per day. It’s written in complex terminology (olde English) so it takes a minute to follow but it is very rich in biblical truth. I recommend Abide In Christ to all of my Christian friends.
