Magic Soak-Off Quick,Professional Nail Polish Remover for Natural, Gel Nails (Green-1)

I saw this on tik tok and decided to try it since I do my own nails. I first file off the top layer of the polish and then put a thick layer of the remover on my nails. It actually gets rid of most of the polish in 6-7 minutes. Sometimes I’ll need to add a second layer if my polish is really thick, but I still find it to be much gentler than using acetone or a nail drill.However, who knows what’s in the remover. I am VERY careful to not get this stuff on my cuticles or skin in case it’s cancer causing (lol). I’ve never experienced any irritation using this product because I don’t let it touch anything but my nails and I suggest the same to anyone using this.

I have been using gel polish without any problems to my nails, basically since it came out to the average consumer (5 years ?) Trust me. See photo. It just made a huge mess with tiny pieces of stuff (some nail gel included), with one coat, which I left on around 4ish minutes. By this point it definitely wasn’t doing anything more, so I had to use another coat, to get through the base coat. (When I read earlier reviews, some did say that they needed two or three coats, themselves). By then, it went to my actual nail and as I scrapping, (it doesn’t just wipe off), it went through to my nail bed, (see ring finger-ow). Now I just have a mess to clean up, very weakened nails and still will have to file some leftover gel polish and base coat off. I do use a primer that helps the gel to stay on better and longer but I don’t think that should matter, since most do the same and should be expected, I would think. (?)Probably needless to say, I will not be doing my other hand with it and need to just throw it away because returns aren’t allowed. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with this purchase and want to save you the trouble, is why I am writing this review.

I have ordered this many times. I can’t stand when salons grind off gel polish. I do my own toes and use this. All you do is scrape the gel off instead of grinding it off. Have to buff off your top coat first tho.

I just used this product for the first time and found out a few tips. The instructions to tell you to buff the top of the gel polish. I found that wasn’t enough in my case. Either my buffer is dull (might be) or just buffing isn’t enough. I needed my nail scraper to scratch/scrape the top layer off the gel polish. Once I did that this product really started to work great. You know when you’ve been successful when the gel starts to bubble and it will scrape off easily. I put my nails under warm water while I scrapped and it came off fairly easy. I still have a few spots I’m going to have to come back and redo to full get it all off.

Didn’t work on my powder dipped nails.

Love love love this product for removing several layers of poly gel. I sometimes have to scrape and apply again but I no longer soak my nails in acetone.

Works great
