It might be made in the USA but this is the worst water filter I’ve ever purchased. There is no research to be done on the company there is one article that doesn’t even talk about the company or the product. The only instructions on the water filter itself recommends that you do not use for water that has not already been filtered or cleaned by municipality. Basically they know it doesn’t do anything so they don’t want you to think that you are safe using this product. I’m convinced there’s nothing in it it is literally water running through plastic. 100% profit for them 100% loss for you. Very disappointed feel like I’ve been ripped off and beyond my return window. Not sure what this filtration medium is if it was carbon the water would be gray at first couple of gallons? Does anyone out there know what this filtration medium is that apparently does nothing that I can tell?

Installed this Clear Choice Filter today. I appreciate that it is manufactured in the USA. Unfortunately, I have no way of knowing if it actually filters anything. After allowing water to run for 3-5 minutes as instructed, the "filtered" water is still has a TDS reading slightly above the unfiltered water coming directly through my sink tap. I realize that it doesn't lower TDS to the degree that a RO system would, but I expected to see some reduction in TDS and there was none.

The filter that came with our fridge needed to be replaced so we purchased these to save money (a lot of money). We have been using this filter for just over a month and have had none of the leaking or noise issues reported by others. It was easy to install (I'm a 53 yr old chick) although it does require some force to properly seat the filter as you push and turn, but I would expect that if you want a tight seal since it's under pressure.I deducted 1 Star because it doesn't quite remove the chlorine taste to my liking, but my husband seems fine with that. If the other 2 filters perform as this one has, I'm sure we will reorder these again when the time comes.

I bought these filters for about $10.00 a piece, they came in a package of three. I put 2 of them in now rinsed about15 gallons through and the water still tastes bad. I wouldn't recommend these. I have one left to try. and if that doesn't work then there's 30.00 wasted.Guess what so the 3rd one works actually installed it today 9/8/20. so this one filter I installed today works.Made in America is great if it's a good product, this isn't. I DON'T RECOMMEND THESE. not to mention all my time wasted

This filter makes your water taste terrible. I bought the 2 pack and i dont know what to do with the second filter. i had to reorder filters from Water Sentinel.

I have wasted many gallons of water and many batches of ice trying to get the taste of plastic, or whatever it is, out of this filter. It has been over 2 weeks since I got this filter and, I'm still tasting. Water doesn't taste like anything, certainly not a chemical or plastic...or something unpleasant. I'm disappointed. I really don't want to be wasting this much money and water on a product that doesn't seem to be filtering correctly. How many gallons of water and COOLERS of ice do I need to waste before I don't taste anything in my water, anymore?

These filters last about a month. Same brand I have gotten before but not the same. Others last at least 6 months. My water tasted better without a filter at all than with this one after a month.

This product arrived in literally two days. Fit was good; installation easy. Product had better flow-through than the prior filter. This is good or bad depending number and quality of the filter elements inside which I could not examine.
