Excellent value
Very highly recommended. Absolutely top value and it works like a charm. The system is easy to put together if you follow instructions and pay attention to what you are doing. The tools needed were included with the kit, all wiring and motors are clearly labeled. A twelve year old could put this together and start making parts! The materials are better quality than some more expensive systems. For example, a friend bought an almost identical system for 100 dollars more and the frame material was about half as thick and instead of the quality lead screws you get for the z-axis with this system, he got a piece of all-thread and a captive nut. If you've never owned a 3d printer and you want to learn about this type of Additive Manufacturing Process, this system is the way to go. I highly recommend this to anyone. I recommend FreeCad for your 3D modeling and part design and Slic3r (sic) to generate G-Code and adjust all of your print settings. By the way, this system correctly processes controlled radius commands, so if you are just printing a cylinder or you need a perfect hole, you can manually modify your G-Code to eliminate the "facets" that appear with the usual slicer output. My wife questioned me spending money on something she totally did not understand. Then she lost a center cap lock tool and the dealership wanted 200 bucks to remove them for her. I printed a removal tool in about an hour at cost of about ten cents. Do the math.

Big mistake
Well guess what just happened. I had this box in a closet for about 4 or 5 months. Opened it got it set up and a few months is it freaking started ticking in the power supply and then the board burns up so yea I am upset and fell like I am out 220 dollars so yea please don't buy this.

Does not go together smoothly with what is in the box.
It is possible to build a 3D printer out of this kit. For the price I expected a relatively painless experience, but there were a few snags with this build.First, one of the aluminum slider bearings did not have tapped screw holes. This would have been a show stopper if I didn't have the right size tap to re tap the holes. Second, the hotend fan nozzle that came with this kit was completely useless. It wouldn't fit in the hole at all because of the terrible quality of the 3D print. Luckily the nozzle is the only 3D printed part in this kit. Finally, the screws for mounting the X axis motor were too long and I had to use washers to install it properly.Everything else went together fairly well. For the price I expected a complete kit without any problems. The printer works great now that it is put together.

Has it's issues, but is a good printer for the money if you can deal with a few problems here and there.
TLDR Version:It's a great printer for the money and I think this is a great buy for the newbie at 3D printing, however it does have it setbacks. Many parts are obviously very cheap, and I have had some problems with it since my purchase. You probably will too. The printer is worth it if you are willing to deal with a few setbacks here and there. Read on for more information:FULL VERSION:I have had this printer for a couple of months now and all-in-all, I am generally very happy with it. It has made some great prints and it has a really big build space. People I tell cannot believe the print space is so big for such a cheap printer! Here is a list of all of the issues that have happened to me in the first couple months, as well as some general notes.1. Putting it together sucks, not because they do a bad job at explaining (they don't, they really are excellent, it comes with a video and everything!), but because it takes SO LONG! It took me almost 10 hours to put it together and I am very mechanically inclined. It didn't help that the video they provided in the instructions was out of date with the model I bought, and I had to figure out 1 or 2 steps at the end because it was different (it wasn't that hard to figure out, but someone who isn't handy might have trouble / confusion).2. While putting it together, one of the base parts was missing a hole! I couldn't mount on the left most part that covers the left Z motor. I had to break the tab off the mating part so that the other tabs can go into the existing, other holes (hard to explain). This shows that QC isn't top notch.3. The jet fan on the front of the extruder broke about a month in. It got CRAZY loud! My wife thought something was going to explode. I replaced it with another fan I found on amazon for 6 bucks, but it was still annoying, and who knows how long this one will last.4. The pin for the bed heater got really hot and caused the connector to turn brown and the pin to corrode. I had to remove the wire from the connector and replace the pin connector, which was really annoying, as you cannot initiate any prints if the bed doesn't get up to temp (there are ways around this, but still)! Their customer service was awesome however, and they sent me a new wiring harness, however it is coming from china and has a month shipping time! I am still waiting for it and using my rigged up repair.5. I had a LOT of issues try to get the z axis to go up smoothly. Finally I contacted the company and they told me to loosen some screws on the ball screw bearing. Very annoying. It works great now though.6. TIP: don't use the spool holder they give you, download and print out the holder that connects to the top of the printer. It takes up less space and works pretty well.7. Sometimes the print will randomly just stop. This is very frustrating if I am 10 hours in! I have found that it seems to have something to do with printing via USB connection. So for longer prints, use the included SD card (which you save to by plugging it into another included USB adapter).8. It's interaction with the Cura software is not great. The printer was made with an older version of Cura, and there have been several updates since then. An example is if you stop or finish a print via USB wired connection, you cannot print anything else unless you unplug the USB, wait 5 seconds, and then plug it back in.That is all I can think of at the moment. Hope this helps!

⚠️⚠️PLEASE READ⚠️⚠️
The media could not be loaded. Aluminum heat bed is high quality BUT it burns out every time I use it!!! I was printing for 1 hr on 60 c and a black burn make appeared on the heatbed plug and it increasingly got larger with every print. The bearings inside the linear rails were terrible and made the printer unusable until I bought a new set for 25$. The build itself was EASY. GOOD FOR BEGINNERS. Power supply gets dangerously hot during operation. Silent for the most part. Acrylic is sharp. I cut my hand while removing the covering of the acrylic... be careful!! Extruded is NICE!! Fans are NICE!! Overall good printer. Waiting to get the costumer support info for a new bed tho

Great value for the mechanically inclined
This was a gift to my 18yr old aspiring engineer son. It requires quite a bit of assembly, which is exactly what I wanted for him. There were a few issues he easily worked through. It is printing great now, better than I was expecting. Great value. He has already been printing parts to improve it. I had to order him more filament the day after Christmas.

The PDF for assembly is good except for one page in Chinese
The printer kit arrived quickly. It was well packed. The parts are well made and fit together tightly. The parts are well labeled which is a big aid in the assembly. The PDF for assembly is good except for one page in Chinese. There are a lot of videos on youtube should further help be necessary.
