WD Red SN700 500GB NVMe SSD for NAS devices, with robust system responsiveness and exceptional I/O performance

Bought this to upgrade my laptops paltry storage capacity. Very easy to install. I used an M.2 SSD cloning device to create a mirror image of my laptops SSD before replacing it with this one. It all went smoothly and now have much more space to play with. I also have the reassurance that this drive is robust and fast. Delivery was swift and product is perfect. Why did you choose this product over others?: I chose this item because of the fact that I see this brand of drives used a lot in enterprise servers and long term storage systems so I felt that it was going to be a well designed and engineered product. I'm not too fussed about blistering speeds as it's for a daily driver laptop, but I would say it never seems laggy.

Works great for my Synology NAS as a read & write cache. I bought two of them and both were detected without any issues, they do work perfectly without any issues. Do keep in mind when you install in a Synology you will get pop up information box informing you about the risks of using non-synology drives, however it isn't a problem at all. Overall, they are great and would highly recommend for any NAS systems.

Perfect for a NAS cache when installed as a pair.

These were used to create SSD Cache in a Synology DS1821+. They were detected without any problems although I did have to acknowledge the risks of using non-Synology drives to enable their use. However, after that, they work perfectly fine.

Good item works as it should

Using it in a NAS for docker applications. Reduce load on my hard disk and faster loading speed.

Utilisé comme disque de boot depuis plus d'un an pour un serveur sous Proxmox, je n'ai pas eu de problèmes de performances ou de stabilité du système de fichier. Les performances sont un peu en dessous de ce qui est annoncé sur les fiches techniques, mais amplement suffisant pour mon usage, débit largement supérieur au SATA III. La vitesse d'écriture et de lecture est stable, même pour des gros transfert de plusieurs Go. Il chauffe quand même relativement vite, mais c'est le cas pour tout les NVME.

Montado y funcionando perfectamente en mi minipc que estoy usando como nas. Llevo años usando los discos wd red y perfecto, así que espero que esté nvme me de el mismo buen resultado.

Este SSD NVMe cumpre o que promete. É confiável, não esquenta muito, entrega escrita e leitura 24x7, tem ótimo endurance, mas é importante que o potencial comprador saiba que este SSD não é o campeão de velocidade. Serve muito bem para servidores ligados 24 horas. Não é para Gamer.
