It works exactly has expected. The 1/8 inch margin of error is much better than the cheaper laster levels with 1/4 inch margin of error. I have used it for self leveling cement and even leveling cabinets.

Works really well easier to see than the red, only complaint is it goes through batteries alot faster than the red

I'm a home builder and have used laser levels since they came out, mostly for conventional leveling tasks. Cross line lasers add a totally new dimension to laying measuring and laying out both interior and exterior details, with an emphasis on interior work. The versatility of this laser is amazing. Instead of relying on using spirit levels, which are only as good as the guy reading the bubble, This laser puts instantly visible horizontal and vertical lines wherever you need them, and in places where you could not put a conventional level. Just try putting a level line on a 40' long wall, with different floor levels and things like water heaters, air handlers, etc in your way with a conventional level. It is a nightmare with a conventional level, and a piece of cake with a laser line level. My suggestion is to get the green laser instead of the red. I think that green is easier to see in brighter conditions.

Easy to use and works great! I like that it comes with a hard case too.

I have put up around 160’ of shelves in my shop using this and have used it to do just about everything from lining up lights to lining up conduit runs in my shop

Love my laser, works great and is definitely a bit stronger than the red one. Anytime I have something to frame I use it and it helps me feel like I am doing an amazing job. Not the biggest dewalt fan but this is top notch.
