The therapy dog program my dog is certified through requires a 4 foot leash. I was very surprised how comfortable the padded handle was. For one with arthritis in my hands, it was gentle on my hands. The hardware was good quality and the braided line appears to be strong and will last several years. I highly recommend this leash.

Pics in actual description as described! I LOVE this dog leash. It's my 2nd that I've purchased, simply as a backup. I had a dog, but he passed away 7 years ago. We finally got a little puppy. He's teething and pretty much destroyed my old dog's leashes. So we got this one and a black one. The leash is strong and is taking a tooth-beating from my 13-week beagle/lab mix. It's holding strong. I love the length - perfect for walking and training. ALL the attachments (clip, handle, poopy bag) are wonderful and very helpful. If you end up getting a puppy, this comes with a carabiner, which is a nice addition, and you can clip that to your belt loop if you have to try and pick up the mess, while dealing w/an unruly dog who's going this way and that. You can clip it, so he won't go anywhere, and you'll have 2 hands to make sure you clean up everything. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I love this leash it's lasting pretty well these last few weeks I've been using it and I have a big 3 year old dog. I love the bright color too, and the poop bag attachment is so handy, came with alot too. I must say I had a hard time getting it off , or opening it to refill the bags but eventually I got it open, so that is nice, that you can refill the bags, in case anyone is wondering. Pretty sturdy too because a couple times my dog went to pull hard to chase something and it helps well, but for the most part I attach it to a harness and it's long enough.

The cushion grip is very nice. My dog is a puller and the strap handle can leave my hands a bit achy. It's nice and sturdy while still being stretchy & flexible. Reflects well in headlights. I prefer the shorter length leash so I appreciated the various size options.

Synopsis - Excellent thick, rope-style leash that has plenty of give and works with harness and collar alike. If you are in the market for a solid, sturdy dog leash, this is certainly the one for you. The leash itself is made from rope like material and is quite sturdy. The handle itself is thick and allows. You plenty of surface to grip and is made from a material that is more plush and softer than that of the leash itself. There is no retract ability on this leash as it is always at its full length. I haven’t had any issues with the clasp and putting it on either a harness or a collar. The leash also works for bigger dogs and equally as well for smaller dogs. For the price you really cannot go wrong here. 5 Leashed Stars out of 5!

The handle is spongy and comfortable to hold in my arthritic hand. Included, was a roll of poop bags in a container, attached to the leash (easily removable.)
