Easily portable and easy to put together
I have MS and don't have the best balance. We went on a trip to northern California, and these poles were there only reason I didn't fall flat on my face while hiking around. They are so easy to put together, super light, and easy to put back in the small carry case after you're done. It was really, really nice to be able to enjoy being outdoors in nature and enjoy the beauty all around me without worrying about my balance getting in the way.

Not for short people
Poles might be great for taller people but I am 5’4” and they barely work for me. My daughter is under 5’ so no chance there. Made the mistake of paying attention only to the first size range mentioned and didn’t read the entire page. The shortest length for these when set up is 45”, which puts my arms at less than 90 degrees and they just aren’t comfortable.

Still works!
Maybe these will suddenly break one day but for now they’re still good! I love that they’re small enough to fit inside my hiking pack. I abused them while climbing a couple mountains last month and they were perfectly fine
