A fine value for a shaver that's a pleasure to use
I started out shaving with an electric razor 55 or so years ago. When disposable plastic razors came out 15 or so years later, I switched and never went back. Lately I bought an actual safety razor, just to try it out (a Western Razor, which I recommend). Around the same time, I started taking blood thinners for a heart condition. And suddenly, the occasional nick turned into a bloodbath. I was at the point of being afraid to shave. So I searched on Amazon, and found this little gem. It is a pleasure to use, and I almost look forward to shaving. It's quiet, with excellent battery life. It's easy to use, very ergonomic, and exceptionally easy to clean. The light weight makes it easy to take on travel, even in carry on luggage. At the price, it's a great value. I don't know about durability yet, but I don't see any sign of wear yet. Highly recommended.

Unexpectedly replaced all my shaving products
Bought this to simplify shaving my head through the week since I'd had some barbers use them in the past. I'd heard that you needed to pay big money for a good one of these, so trying this was a gamble for me. Turns out I had nothing to worry about, since it is by far my favorite way to shave now! Unexpected perk: It works great for shaving my face to. I have to shave every day for work (military) and using a razor always had my face fairly chewed up by the end of the week. This does 90% as good of a job of getting close to the skin, with hardly any of the irritation afterwards. My facial hair is fairly thin, so a fast grower with thicker hair might find themself using it mid-day to stay clean shaven, but still. My scalp hair is super dense though, so the fact that this can chew through it down to an almost perfectly smooth scalp with near zero irritation is amazing to me.Standard caveats of using a foil shaver apply: It does best on shorter hair. If I go over a long weekend or a whole week without shaving my head, it takes much more work to shave it back down with this, but if I use it every day on my face and every 2-3 days on my head, it's a dream solution. Long facial hair that wants to stay stuck down close to my skin is especially problematic and may require lots of extra work, or an actual razor to have better luck with. However, I'd heard that these aren't as great for random directional hair as other shaver styles... I didn't find that to be a hindrance for shaving my head, which has super aggressive directional changes near the peak and rear. I just use it like I'd use a normal razor: rough work with the grain, fine work against the grain to get a smooth finish. Difference is, it doesn't have a solid chance of making me bleed when I go against the grain for a smoother finish, nor does it pull hair like crazy if it's not being used perfectly.I did break the head after about 5 weeks of use. I was trying to disassemble it for a deeper clean and got too aggressive with it I guess, causing a plastic tab to snap. Woops. Amazon overnight got me a new one the next day and even if I decided to replace these monthly (probably overkill), the heads are still economical compared to keeping normal razors sharp with constant replacements.

Good, but somehow not as close as a very old Braun foil
I compared this to an older battery powered (AA) Braun foil shaver that my dad has. After shaving the back of our necks with this new Braun, we went over it with the old (very old) Braun, and the oil shaver was cutting apparently very short hairs that the new one didn't cut.I'm guessing that the old one has a quite thin foil, probably never having been replaced, so my theory is that the thinner foil means shorter pieces of stubble reach the blade. So maybe the foil on this new one will eventually wear down to where it cuts as close as the old one. Strange. But it does work well, and the stubble that the old one got, probably isn't something very visible, but it could probably be felt. The sideburn trimmer on this new one is a nice design, especially if cutting someone else's hair, since you can easily see where the trimmer is going to contact.. compared to some other designs where the trimmer blade pops out at a strange angle in terms of usability.

Shaves close and smooth, Definitely worth it!
My razor of 20 years +/- finally gave out on me. Not wanting to spend a fortune I decided to try this one. It was very reasonably priced and a brand name so why not. I work in an office and enter the kitchen area often so being clean shaven is a huge plus and this razor does exactly that. For a few dollars (not much) I got an amazing razor that gives a close shave and leaves me with a smooth face. It's fast and cordless, holds a charge for weeks!

Very good electric shaver
I’m very satisfied with this electric shaver. It’s powerful, quiet, and gives a clean finish without irritating the skin. It glides smoothly and cuts precisely, both for dry and wet shaving. The battery lasts a long time and charges quickly. Plus, it’s easy to clean and comes with several useful accessories.I totally recommend it for anyone looking for comfort and great performance in their daily shave.

Works ok, still need razor after
Pros: nice size and charges up quick. Uses a power cord to charge, not USB adapter. Can wash in sink.Cons: Does not do a very good job after a week of face growth. Takes a long time to cut down, many passes and then needs a follow up with razor.

Bald shave
At this price point I wasn’t expecting much. But I’ve been very pleased. Have tried others and get razor rash bad. I use this wet/dry version with Creamo shave cream after using a regular safety razor. It’s the only way I can get a close shave without getting tore up. I’ve also used it on my head, smoothest bald shave ever. Battery seems to last longer than advertised, but I’ve only had it for about 6-7 months.

a good buy for the money.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have used Braun for many years. A very good product. Straight razors remove to much skin. Not good. The only thing I do not like is you cannot use it while plugged in. If you want it to last do not use wet. And keep it oiled.
