MCAT Biochemistry Review (Graduate School Test Preparation)

Idk what all these bad reviews are about but i used this as my sole source of biochem info when preparing for the mcat in 2018 and I got an excellent score on that section. i loved the way it it breaks down the concepts in clear diagrams and logical flow... I’m even using this book now in my first year of Med school to refresh myself on all the topics in a way that’s easy to digest (esp cellular respiration, pun intended).

Right off the bat, I haven't even gone through the material yet but I bought this book in new condition and it arrived bent and with pen markings

I'd go with examkrackers instead...this book spends almost HALF of the book explaining useless things like how to read questions and what not...which is a waste of time, in my opinion. With the new format, it is better to just take the exam.

The book is short and to the point but it's missing some important stuff that appears in the AAMC outline under biochemistry section making it incomplete. An online pdf for the missing stuff would be appreciated.

The suppose to do better than this. Kaplan Biochem is much better.

It showed a little wear on arrival, but nothing really negative in general.
