Works just right for my clock that I’m building

I wasn't expecting high quality, or even decent quality for the price, but I wasn't expecting junk either. The entire bag of ten of them, that's 20 pcs, and screws, weighs less than an ounce (30g). Sigh. Live and learn, eh?

These latches are plated sheet metal (steel) and are very thin. Each piece is stamped and the swing arm is attached with a rivet. They look good and work well for being manufactured so cheaply (reflected in the inexpensive cost). The included screws (plated steel) fit the holes and also worked well, however, it is very easy to crush the latch (since they are hollow stampings) when assembling with the screw so use care when tightening. Used for a small shop box so they are going to work but they would not be good for well made jewelry box in my opinion.

These are stamped sheet metal. The arm is riveted to the mount, sharp edges and difficult to move. It will not survive more than a few openings.
