I bought these fire starters for my charcoal grill/smoker. This thing worked great! I used 2 cubes (I have a lot of charcoal). It does not emit any odors, and the charcoal fully ignites around 5-10 minutes.

Does what it says it does with no issues. I use three at a time to start my Kamado Joe smoker. Easy to start with my looflighter. Gets the fire going!

I purchased these twice the first time they were not wrapped in plastic and were heavier (seemed more dense) and worked great even in high winds, the next purchase the box was much lighter, and the firestarters were wrapped in plastic, they seemed harder to light and I had a problem twice (decent winds those days) were they went out and I had to relight. Still worked great hence the 4 stars but since the quality went down I may try another brand now.

Works for what they are intended for. Lighting my Masterbuilt gravity smoker. I tried some cheaper options and always come back to these as I know they work and I don't have to fuss with getting them in and lite.

It's not that I can't build a fire myself... but why fight it when these light so quickly and easily? They're well priced and I only need a tiny piece to get a whole fire going. They burn slowly, catch quickly, and are generously sized (like I said, you can just use a small portion of one section). 10/10 would buy again.
