KitchenAid 6 Speed Hand Mixer w/Flex Edge Beaters, KHM6118, Ice Blue

I bought this a while back but only now leaving a review. I LOVE IT! A sister who I visited back in March had one she was using and I always so impressed with the quietness. The hand mixer I had at the time was so noisy that I would have to warn my husband if he was watching tv so he could hit pause. Now we don't have to! I lilove the rubber on the blades as well as that helps with the noise on a bowl as well. I definitely recommend! And the red color is pretty and matches my Kitchenaid stand mixer.

Just used a couple of days ago to make a pound cake. Very happy with how it functions and the quietness. For me, a plus/improvement are the flex edge beaters! It also has a good hand feel and isn’t too heavy. My last KitchenAid mixer was just the basic and it was used for MANY years. It was dropped several times and a couple small pieces chipped out. Most. recently one of the beaters, at times, didn't seem to stay in and the cord had a worn area. However it still runs and was a great mixer.! It will be donated.,

My previous KitchenAid mixer was from 1998 and it just stopped working, that says something about the brand. I literally used it till it no longer worked. In researching a replacement, KitchenAid brand was a must. I like the rubber on the blades, the whisk attachment and how easy it is to store them on the unit. It's easy to clean, and when I used it for the first time, it was quiet and got the job done. If my original KitchenAid mixer lasted 27 years, I'm certain this one will do the same. It's a great mixer, funcional, quiet, and I like the color and that it stores the blades and whisk. Great design and puts my mind at ease knowing that KitchenAid is a name you can trust.

KitchenAid 6 Speed Hand Mixer with Flex Edge Beaters - KHM6118 Excellent mixer. Has good power. Low is actually low and doesn’t splash everything all over the place like my last mixer. It is worth the extra money to get a good, sturdy mixer. Plus, it is not super heavy either. It is a nice looking mixer as well.

I love KitchenAid products and this little hand mixer is no exception. It is powerful, and works really well. The only trouble I have with it is getting the beaters in and clicking in, I've had the beaters fall out of the unit and couldn't figure out how to get them to stay put. Sometimes I had no problem with that and I don't know what I'm doing differently. The mixing ability is amazing and strong, no issue with thick doughs and batters. The clean up is super easy as well, I'm not trying to clean out all the crevices, it just wipes clean. The only thing it doesn't have that my old mixer has is there is no case to store it. I really liked that about the other mixer, that is the only reason I took of 1 star. It does have a place to clip in the beaters to keep it all together which was a nice feature. I'm not sure what my husband paid for the mixer as it was a gift from him to me. But He is pretty frugal, so I'm sure the value for the money was acceptable to him.

Have only used it once so far, but works well, seems to have enough power for my needs, quieter than my old hand mixer, like the flex edge beaters.

Couldn’t be happier.. great quality… easy to use …no complaints at all. Had a hand mixer that was considerably cheaper and it certainly was far more disappointing. I love the way the beaters store on the unit and it’s so easy to use …different changing speeds. It just extremely cooperative when you’re trying to beat something up in a bowl… I waited too long before I got this! affordable.

Works well as most KitchenAid products do. I needed to replace my old mixer and so I thought I would try out KitchenAid. So far, good.

Fantastic! Love the rubber ends. This mixer did not disappoint. The speed is great despite what other user say. No issues at all. Whipped up some mash potatoes that came out great! Love the storage of the beaters. Easy click in as well. Was having such issues with my old one clicking in, but not this one. Excellent product. You really can't go wrong with kitchen aid stuff.
