A perfect replacement for the Singer Heavy duty 4423. Let your sewing machine cool before doing any repairs. If you have recently used your machine it will be warm from the vibrations and the metal parts would have expanded.

Perfect piece needed
My Mother's sewing machine was having issues and Pop was able to determine that this piece was the problem. We went to a local Singer store but they did not have the piece available for sale so I was able to get it via Amazon. It is installed and her sewing machine is working wonderfully.
