Kermit the Frog "The Rainbow Connection" The Muppets 2013 Hallmark Ornament

The media could not be loaded.  This ornament has great sound quality and is beautifully designed. It plays one verse of Kermit singing The Rainbow Connection. No longer a current ornament, it is sold at a collector's premium. At $95 new, I made myself wait a year to be sure that this truly was something I wanted. I did because I like Kermit's rendition of the song. If that isn't something that tugs at your heart strings, there are better things on which to spend $95. I do not foresee this ornament becoming a collector's item whose sale would recoup the $95 price so purchase it if it warms your heart.

You just can't get better than this - i found i couldnt even put it away as a christmas tree decoration - its just too cute and i TOTALLY LOVE the song The Rainbow Connection. For anyone who wants to find a keepsake for someone in their family who remembers the movie back then, this is a clear winner. I couldn't get it in the store so thralled through ebay and Amazon to find it. I'm delighted with it. The seller did a great job packaging it up safely for shipping to me too. This ornaments detail and quality of sound is excellent. One of Hallmarks best yet! I had tried to get it at the store and found out since it was a Crown exclusive it was only available from the store. So I knew my only other way to obtain Kermit in a timely and secure manner, would be via Amazon. I was originally going to give this as a gift but upon receiving it and playing it I decided I had to have Kermit for my own. I'll share it, of course.

I know this item is rather expensive for a hallmark ornament, but this is a song my husband and I had played at our wedding. Listening to Kermit singing one stanza of the song is well worth the price if the song has a special meaning for you. The ornament is also nicely detailed.

While the ornament itself is adorable, it is really quite expensive for the plastic composition of it. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sound and volume as well. It came with the batteries and the installation of them was easy. Who can resist smiling when Kermit sings RAINBOW CONNECTION? All and all, despite the expense it is very nice and the delivery time was amazingly fast...yes, I would recommend it if you like Kermit, but Hallmark is making a huge profit on these.

I bought this for my Dad because he's a huge Kermit fan and Rainbow Connection is his absolute favorite thing. He's only had it on his desk for a week (I bought it for his desk and not the christmas tree) and he plays it several times a day.The song is nice quality, however it doesn't play the whole song and he was a little disappointed.

Received the ornament. No battery! Duh ! Supposed to be a gift for Christmas ! Now what?Very disgusted and disappointed
