Wonderful creative machine. Already spent many hours playing and learning.

Although other roland grooveboxes have support for samples their memory is too small for anything more than one-shots. The sp404mk2 on the other hand has a huge memory that seems endless. I wanted this for use with a microphone. it has an xlr port, phantom power and a 6mm jack input. The quality is very good. Obviously a high quality microphone helps ! The construction is solid. The instruction manual is typically roland - It gets infuriatingly vague in places, but otherwise is very detailed and practical. You have to download it from the website btw. The FX features are excellent.

Playing guitar and listening to beats. It is fun to use and the screen is clear. Keep it in its case when not in use Save up or wait for a lower price.

Terrible. Cams broken with the audio Jack midi out not working at all. Everything else was fine. Tried everything to fix it, master volume was down, bus fx off. Everything that could have caused it was off. Different headphones and wire made the same problem. Literally got sold a broken MKII, these are frequently returned for a reason as they don’t work. Please please buy from somewhere else and don’t make my mistake.

Todo bien con mi sp 404 mk2 hasta el momento. Sin embargo la paqueteria que eligen en mexico para entregar deja demaciado que desear, de haber sabido lo, me temo que la hubiera comprado por otro lado

Die SP Sampler haben absoluten Kultstatus und das zu recht. Absolutes top Gerät und erfüllt genau das was es verspricht. Ein kleines Portables Indtrument zum Samplen mit einer Vielzahl an Effekten. Ein Ersatz für meine MPC Live 2 ist er nicht aber als Effektbox und als Sketchpad im Urlaub und manipulieren von Samples gibt es nichts besseres
