If you have imperfect skin but would love to have that no make-up natural look, this is for you.I'm 50. My skin has developed a mind of its own: adult acne, dryness, etc. In my quest to find products that don't aggravate my sensitive skin, I found a website that lets you know if products have ANY ingredients that could cause issues. This product has ZERO ingredients that are known to cause issues for sensitive or acne-prone skin.I am LOVING this product!!! It balances my skin tone while also allowing my freckles to poke through. I am also able to tap on a bit more around my adult acne, so those are decently covered. I have noticed that I need to exfoliate in order for this to sit well, but I think exfoliating has helped the acne - so that has been a bit of a win-win. It doesn't feel as though I have makeup on; it feels more like a light moisturizer. I do NOT use the recommended primer (I just don't use a lot of makeup and probably put it on wrong because I had pilling when I used it. If I don't use the primer, there's no pilling.) It doesn't settle into the tiny lines around my eyes. I don't need to use a lot of it and haven't even needed to use concealer. I think this might be the best foundation type product that I have ever used.When my daughter saw me, she said, "Oh - your skin is looking so healthy!" I let her know that I am wearing makeup and she was floored.A note about shine: when I put this on, it has a sort of "velvety texture" on my skin. I am unsure what other words to use to describe it. It isn't heavy. It isn't reflective. It isn't quite matte. It just looks like healthy skin. After a few hours, if I do not use niacinamide serum (The Ordinary) then I will notice a slight sheen in my T-zone. If I use a tissue to "pat" that area, no color is transferred but the sheen will go away. When using the niacinamide serum, the sheen is far less pronounced. Overall, I LOVE that this product doesn't have that fake shine look to it; I think that's why I feel like it just looks like a really healthy version of my own skin.

This is wonderful. I ordered Light 10 and is a very good match. I does look darker, a bit orange in the container but did not look orange on my skin. I enjoyed applying this and 5 hours later it still looks fresh. It feels light and dewy yet the coverage is great and is buildable, yet I did not really need to. If you are looking for a moisturizing foundation that does not feel heavy, than I recommend trying this. Another really nice product from L'Oreal and I will order again.

I am used to medium to full coverage foundation, placed on with a stippling brush. I purchased this in order to have less of a mask of foundation and a more natural feel. This foundation is super sheer (if you have any hyper pigmentation or redness this wont cover it) and feels slippery to the touch (like water). It definitely applies best with your fingers and coverage is slightly buildable. It dries down mostly. If you put too much it can probably be a little tacky but still dry enough so your hair doesn't get caught in it. It will show any dry/flaky skin so definitely need to exfoliate before putting it on. There is also no smell to it as well, which is good as I am a bit sensitive to strong scents

It's such a shame because this L'Oreal Age Perfect Tinted Balm has so many great things going for it. It's super lightweight and very balmy. It has no scent, light coverage, and a natural finish. The only drawback is that it is SO orange. If your skin tone is warm, this will probably work for you. But for those of us with cool or neutral tones, this just does not work, unfortunately. I would love to wear this on weekends or at the gym, but even if I put a very thin layer on, this will oxidize and it will not match my neck. Please L'Oreal, make more colors for different skin tones.
