Good for fat cats too!
Ok so I was worried this wouldn't hold my 17 (maybe 18) lb cat, but it does! It's been attached for a good 5 days now with regular use.Tip on getting it to stick well...obviously clean your windows, let it dry or wipe dry. Then, take some rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball or a cloth and wipe the areas of the window you'll stick the suction cups too. Also, wipe the suction cups with the alcohol. This ensures a solid stick. I was lazy the first time and only cleaned the glass, and it came off.Once I reapplied I did a test run with a heavy book, and it's been good ever since. Now the way my windows are set up, the cables were too long to keep all 4 suction cups on the same glass pane. I didn't want to put it higher because I wanted it accessible to the cats from the window sill. So, I turned it over so the cable attachments came out the bottom, and wrap around the edge, in turn taking up about an inch or more of 'slack'. This solved my problem. I attached pictures to help you see what I did, I'm sure this problem may arise for someone else, and it was an easy fix.I would definitely buy this again! Cats and I give it 2 paws up! 😸

Worked on my adhesive privacy covering
Kitties love it, I have one older cat who claimed this one right after I put it up. I've since adopted 2 kittens who took over without asking. She would sit there and glare at them so I had to come back to Amazon to purchase another one. I did buy another brand slightly different to this one to compare them. They are both used all the time. They do seem to be partial to the other one I must admit. It may be because this one's covering sometimes slips off slowly from the back and ends up leaving a gap which they've gotten their paw through when they jump up. I may end up putting some fasteners on to keep it securely on. You can see the gap in the picture. It sags in the middle when they're on it, so this is probably why this happens. I also have an adhesive frosted privacy covering on my window, and it worked despite that. I did have problems with the suction in the beginning where my cat would jump up on it and it would fall from having lost suction. I just cleaned the area and suction really well with isopropyl alcohol and water mixed together, then squirted a little bit onto the suction before I placed it on the window and that did the trick. It has not fallen since and it's been a few months. Not even with the kittens playing on it, pouncing on it, swatting anyone under it, etc. We also have not removed it, so I couldn't say anything about that. They are pleased with me for making this purchase and I get rewarded with loving scratches...

Fat Cat Tested!
Cool concept! My cat did not like it. I guess it did not look sturdy enough. It stuck to the window for months. Note: if the windows are not clean the suction cups will not work well. These suction cups are not flimsy. They withstood the test of holding up a fat cat. I would give more stars but the cat only stayed in it for less than 2 minutes. I did not like the wires. They are in the way. But they are needed security.

Cats prefer Oster brand window seat
I bought this window seat for a kitten I just adopted. I already have an Oster brand window seat for my other cat and he loved his, so I decided to get this since Oster wasn't available at the time to order. The suction cups are thinner and of lower quality than the Oster one, same with the fabric for the seat. Had problems with two cups that keep falling down. I can get it to stay for a while after getting the cup a little moist before sticking it to the window. For now it works okay.Update 7/14/18: After weeks of having this up for both my 3 pound kitten and 17 pound adult cat to use, the suction cups still keep failing and both cats prefer the Oster brand window seat. I will be looking to get another Oster brand one for them since they like that one so much better and fight to use that one and avoid this one.

They love it, added a heating pad.
I got this for my cats and they love it. Once I placed them on top of it they sat down and sat there for an hour. My cat Peppa (black and white) loves it the most. My black one is too fat to jump up there. She can jump it’s the landing on the headboard the tricky part. It’s located right above my bed over my head. So I’m putting a lot of trust that it won’t fall. Anyway my cat Boo (fatty) needs a lot of help getting up there, but despite her size she loves it.I decided to make it even more luxurious and added the unused cat heating pad to it. Now they sleep up there. By They I mean one cat they aren’t to the level of cuddling quite yet.Anyway of they love it I love it. I didn’t clean the window and the wire suction cups kept falling off. My lazy butt finally cleaned it and it stayed on. So CLEAN YOUR WINDOW!I lost my cuddle buddy but I got a back up cat.Considering buying a second one of each going back to my apartment (currently in college). There’s a 4 pound dog who I can see loving this as well.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
Don't waste your money. Due to various circumstances, I was outside the return window when I was finally able to try it. The seat cover is a cheap plastic-like material easily punctured with cat claws. Even worse, the wire cables made to attach to suction cups to mount on the window, are two DIFFERENT LENGTHS! This makes it unusable with the types of Windows I have. Could I shorten one to match? Probably. But then I'd have to find the correct type of metal to crimp to the adjusted wire length. Too much of a hassle to do that and unsure if I could secure it correctly so as to not harm my cat. I'm very dissatisfied. I could have paid better attention to the reviews before I purchased this.

Cats love it!
I was skeptical after reading a few other reviews whether this cat window bed would work. I’ve had it in place for about two months and it has gone as intended. Very sturdy and the suction cups hold tight. I have two cats and they often lay together on this bed. Often times they wrestle too and it holds tight to the window. The material cleans easily. Can’t really ask for much more...affordable, works as intended, easy to maintain and makes the cats happy. A++.
