Safety Sensors Beam Eyes for Linear Garage Door Opener (HAE00002 LSO50 LDO33 LDO50) - 1 Door

Bought these to replace a broken sensor for my garage door opener. Perfect replacement, easy install. No issues.

I had been using an old garage door opener on an external garage I built years ago. It is a back garage door on the yard side, so I don't use it that often. While I was building the garage, my neighbor gave me his old opener when he upgraded. I could never get the sensors to work, so I had to hold the button until the door closed and I did that for years, until I found these sensors. They installed easily and work perfectly on my old opener.

Exact replacement.

For several summers, sunlight shinning on the carport concrete in front of the garage door sensors prevented door closures during certain times of the day except by holding down the manual close button until the door was fully closed. I put things on the sensors that helped by shading the sensors but over time they stopped being effective. I just replaced the sensors ( a 30 minute job) and the problem is resolved. I wish I had tried that years ago.

I’m very pleased with the product, it’s a perfect match to the original design and they perfectly into the OEM Brackets that were originally installed. I believe they were reasonably priced and were delivered on or before the promised date which is always a plus. Functions exactly as the original Sensors did, I was surprised at the fact that they went out after a Hurricane went through the state that was the cause of failure water got into the original sensors and shorted them out. Anyway I highly recommend the product, Great Product Fitment and Service would purchase again if I needed to do so!

I found that the wires slipped out of the included connectors very easily. They each had varying amounts of plastic flashing which tells me their manufacturing QC isn't very good. I ended up twisting the wires together and securing with heat shrink tubing.The units seem to work as a pair only. IE you can't just replace one unit, you have to replace both.

These were easy to install and instantly corrected the problem. A heavy, sideways rain had rendered one of my old sensors useless. Once the new ones were installed, the door opened and closed perfectly again.

Replaced an original sensor that was blown out by lightening. Only replaced the transmitter / receiver side - the other side was fine. Very quick and easy to install (I used WAGO connectors - the connectors included didn't seem secure)

As another reviewer mentioned, direct sunlight affects the sensor making it so the light thinks the sensor is being blocked. Very easy to install, but there is a window of time everyday for me where the sensor doesn’t function properly.
