In short, works great. The original batteries that came with my Dewalt DC725 hammer drill were wearing out and new brand name batteries were about $150. My other tools are mostly Milwaukee and they use the M18 line of batteries. I like my Dewalt drill. So, I didn't figure I had any choice but buy new batteries. So, I was so glad to find this might work with my Milwaukee batteries and work it did. Fits well in my drill. It is smaller than the original batteries profile on the base of the drill, but it works fine. Still balanced and the drill stands upright just fine. Some other reviews complained that it is difficult to remove. It is a little sticky to pull out, but I don't find it particularly difficult. I can't attest to its durability yet as I have only had it for a few weeks. Seems to work great and it is a lot cheaper than buying new batteries and allows me to use just one type of battery. As long as it holds up over time, I find it to be a great value.

I bought two of these to use with a couple of Dewalt 18V tools I have. Existing batteries have died and new 18V batteries are hard to find. All my current cordless tools are Milwaukee and use the M18 battery system. Well I found an adapter to allow me to use the newer M18 batteries with older Milwaukee nicad tools, so I thought, what about an adapter for my older Dewalt 18V stuff so I can use the Milwaukee M18 batteries I have for my other tools. Well this thing really works well with my M18 batteries and it will also take the Dewalt 20V batteries as well--even I don't have any of those, but a co-worker used my 18V drill with this adapter and his 20V battery and it worked like a charm.

when using product, it comes loose, nit happy with it, i would like to have it replaced if it is faulty

This is the best of 3 adapters that I own. I have a original De Walt, a fake De Walt, I like this one the best.I do not know how long it will last but so far I have been pleased with it. What stands out the most isthe spring release of the battery. I have arthritis in both hand and cannot get the battery off from the otherbrands but with this one the battery just pops off. The USB charger is a plus also. I have 2 or the Waitleyadapters and have just ordered a third one so I can leave them in my heavily used 18 volt De Walt toolsThe low price was another factor for choosing this product.
