Great!
I can't believe I waited so long to get one of these. The cones are the best, they are fresh and tasty. Now about the product, it is kind of cheaply made, but it does the job. I find that if you use a small ladle to pour the batter and use the back of the ladle to smooth out the mixture works best. You can increase the size of the cone by swirling the batter to the outer edges. You do have to make sure it is spread evenly or some of your cones will be thin in some areas. The recipe it comes with is excellent, I saw no need to change it. If you are using the bowl maker you have to make sure you do not make the waffle to big or it won't fit. If you want a bigger bowl you can use a tortilla bowl mold and press the cone in that to shape it. You do have to cook the cone longer the the green light indicates to get the excess moisture out. Judge your time accordingly so that you don't burn the cone. Rolling the cones takes a little practice, but this is not a cooking show so just have fun. I had no problems with this item and would recommend it. Be sure to read the manual and use a silicone spatula.

Great product
I did a lot of reviews before I settled on a cone maker, let's face it, totally a luxury item that probably nobody has room for in their kitchen. It's everything they said it was! I make keto sugar free waffles with almond flour and flax, nothing sticks, however I do wipe a light coating of oil in the beginning and after a couple of cones being made. They turn out perfect, but not as crisp as the ones with a cane sugar sweetener, so I put them in the oven for 30 minutes on 200 and they are beautiful! I recommend this product especially if you want to make alternative sugar free or grain free cones. Everyone loves an ice cream cone, especially in the heat of summer. A worthy luxury kitchen accessory.

Might be good...
We got this for Christmas and the kids were really excited to use it. The recipe was easy to follow but the cones would not set up. Maybe a different recipe will work better.

The kids and I love this
We have been having a blast making waffle cones with this, as well as crepes. I was concerned that even the picture on the box shows very uneven browning on the cones, and that is mostly true, it does cook a bit unevenly around the outer edge. But, if you let the waffle cones cook for about 30 seconds longer than in the recipe, they come out golden brown and crisp when they dry. Oh, and really do turn it on before you start mixing the batter: it takes a really long time to heat up.

Doesn't heat or cook even.
Doesn't cook or heat up even. It is to hot on one side and either urns one side or leaves the other side uncooked. We didn't try using it soon enough and the return period passed before we knew this.

Cheap Gimmick
We purchased this year ago during Prime Day and it got packed away in a box without ever being used since my family thought we would be moving for work. While going through old boxes, I found it in the box and was very excited to try it, after reading all the fantastic reviews. Even though it had been a few years since we purchased it, everything still looked perfect and we decided to give it a shot. At first, everything seemed perfect. It cleaned up well and worked well when making waffle cones. The burner could sometimes be uneven in its cooking, but we learned to quickly adjust around it. This is the main reason I am giving it a three-star review. The back end of the heating plate just massively overheats, and it is hard to compensate for it, but we did our best by counting by the seconds (110 seconds was perfect, but if you waited 120, you would have part of it burned). It seemed decent for the size and money, so we put it more as a cheap gimmick that was worth the Prime Day price. While the recipe was absolutely amazing, the part for making waffle bowls was a joke. It was far too small for the unit size of the waffle it made, and it cracked as soon as it was touched, making it useless for ice cream. Again, for a cheap gimmick, it wasn't bad but probably not really worth it unless you get it cheap ($20 or less).

So easy to use, great results
I have a few expensive specialty cookie irons, but decided to give this cone maker a try. Boy, am I glad I did! It makes terrific cones with the included recipe. I was able to make a perfect cone in about 2 minutes with no issues with the batter sticking. This machine performs better than one of my fancy imported irons that cost 4 x as much and sticks anything I bake in it like chewing gum. This iron was easy to use, easy to clean and does not take up much room. Along with making waffle cones and bowls, I'll be using it to make Dutch stroopwafels.

I am no chef, but even I could use it
I used a little too bit much cinnamon which made them come out darker than I would like, but I priced gluten-free cones and making them at home (one tiny batch made 9 cones) pays off very rapidly. The surface cleans off very well, but the edges are harder to clean. You must put something under it to catch the drips. It is recommended to oil the ceramic edges, too, for ease of cleaning.

Great products simple to use
First batch was a little tricky. Of course, I had to get used to the amount and timing. The light goes on when it’s ready, and all I had to do was leave it in for 5 more seconds. I’m extremely pleased with my purchase would recommend. Like come on just look at those cones in the picture :)

Great for Stroopwafels!
I purchased this a little sceptical, however the cone waffle maker worked great. I used this for making stroopwafels and they came out perfect. The only negatives are that the product has a UK plug adaptor rather than a hard wired plug. Also the white plastic around the sides discoloured in use which was disappointing.
