Didn’t realize Melamine was poisonous plastic. I thought it was the brand of the dishes. Embarrassing, that I thought that. Good thing they arrived with some dishes broken, or I would have never looked it up! They refunded my my money, but didn’t want me to mail them back even though they were still in the box. Super sketchy.

Wow! How did I miss this piece of information when I placed my order? I gave five stars based on the product questions but when I opened the package I couldn’t believe how “cheap” the feel and look of melamine is. Then to see they are not to be used in the microwave and Dishwasher was “deal off”. I sent back and reordered proper stoneware at a higher price and now very pleased with it. Props to Amazon for their seamless return and reorder process!

This dinette set is beautiful. Unfortunately one of my bowls arrived cracked. The quality is great as well as the price.

The dishes had a beautiful black color out of the box… until you washed them. After placing them in the dishwasher they came out ch chipped! The chipped edges were white. Poor quality dishes. I brought them for my granddaughters new place. Your dishes are displayed for your your guest for dinners. It was very embarrassing. We couldn’t return them b/c I brought them earlier before the move.

Cheap light weight don’t waste your money

If you are buying this product expecting a hefty fine piece of non-plastic -- you've came to the wrong place.
