Came here to say that I actually use these for my dog's dry nose after my Vet recommended it. We live in Arizona and although it hasn't normally been an issue, one of our dogs nose would just be dry, constantly. We tried some other popular balms and salve products specifically for dogs but we would have to apply several times a day and he hated it, would try to rub or lick it off even if we tried distracting him with a treat. I just break one in my hand, I've also just poked it with a fork and rub it on his nose once a day and he looks so much better! He must not mind the feeling compared to the balms since he doesnt try to rub it off but doesn't like the taste cause he hasn't tried licking it off since the first one either.
