Great, buy! Easy weld
1996 f150 xl rwd 302w not too loud, just a nice modest rumble. sounds phenomenal at 50mph!

Great sound, poor rust resistance
Sounded great on a 5.7 Ram and the initial quality looked good but after a couple of Minnesota winters it was rusted significantly more than the original exhaust tubing it was welded to, which was about 8 years older than the muffler. The welds for the inlet rusted and cleanly separated from the main body of the muffler while I was driving, leaving me very suddenly with a straight piped truck and exhaust dangling from hangers for the rest of a two hour drive. I’d recommend this muffler for drivers who rarely see harsh conditions but would not put it on a daily driver again.

Got a Cammed HEMI? This Is Your Muffler.
I've tried 4 different mufflers on my 2012 Ram R/T Express trying to find the one that makes the sound in my head. This Thrush welded is that noise. It's killer! I had it welded in place with the factory tailpipes and it's perfect. No drone or that "clapping" backslap you get with chambered mufflers. No flubby midrange like a straight through acoustical material packed muffler. Just sounds like a hot rod should to me. And for the price, it's really a no-brainer. If you have a stock, tuned, modified, or full out race truck with the 5.7 HEMI, you'll like this piece.

It sounds amazing and sounds the way a hemi should
Installed this on my 2013 Ram 1500 hemi. It sounds amazing and sounds the way a hemi should. I went to the local auto parts store and purchased an 3" pipe 18" long alone with a few clamps and it was a done deal. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. It's throaty and aggressive but still quite at idle.
