The OXO Tot Silicone Plate Pink (and in so many other delicious colors, Kandinsky would have been lucky to have such a palette). First of all, this is being marketed as a plate to be used for your toddler. It is “tantrum resistant” it is dishwasher safe, it has absolutely no lead paint, and it is bisphenol A free. All good things, but its utility really shines when used as a food bowl for your cat(s). Its inward curved walls are perfect to prevent the inevitable migration of cat food onto your floor. It has a weighted base, preventing it from easily being tipped by your cat’s penchant for knocking over and flipping bowls, especially if they contain water, or if you have caused dissatisfaction due to your failure to recognize the urgency with which food is desired as the bowl is essentially empty, “I mean there is NO FOOD IN THE CENTER OF THE BOWL KAREN! That’s not my name Percy. OH WHATEVER, I DO FIND THE OXO SILICONE PLATE PLEASING, FILL IT! Ok Percy…” In all seriousness, this product will get much more use as a food bowl for our cats than it would ever get as a plate for a child. What 15 year-old wants their food presented to them on the floor in a silicone bowl designed so that it can’t be broken into shards, is easily grabbed by tiny hands and is difficult/nigh impossible to tip? Well I imagine there are some human teenagers and adults like that, I don’t judge…. but really, this product has far more utility as a cat food bowl. My 21 year-old cat can’t get enough of its pleasing symmetry. Especially when it has her favorite food in it. She will accept nothing else, and she f***ing deserves it. I wasn’t going to go there, but this product really has changed my life. Before, I would struggle to remove dried bits of paté off the bottom of stainless steel and porcelain food bowls before sending them through the dishwasher, as there is no dishwasher truly up to the task of removing such offerings from the bottom of your pet food bowls. Say goodbye to the frustration of scrubbing and scraping at your food bowls. The OXO Tot Silicone Plate is NON-STICK! This product will save HOURS of your life you will never every get back, spent scraping away at dried cat food, wondering to yourself “Is the secret sauce really actually cement??!?!?? “Nope, the silicone texture is nearly self-cleaning. Take that cat food cement! And it is dishwasher safe! I’m getting a little faint just thinking of the spare time I now have. Now I can spend that time searching amazon for viable toilet paper options during the pandemic, secure in the knowledge that my cats are eating off of plates deemed safe enough by crazy people who go through the trouble of having human children. Love this bowl/plate for my daughter - it is durable, holds food well and is great in the microwave. Only thing missing is a suction which isn’t the biggest deal because we aren’t in the throwing of plates stage. It is a bit pricey but it is great quality.

I loooove. Bought it for my 10 year old Maltese dog who had her teeth out. It’s soft and smooth and it doesn’t bother her to eat out of it. I also got 2 of the bowls. One for her water and the other for treats. So pretty and very functional as well!

I have a diabetic Yorkshire Terrier who has to be fed diabetic canned dog food twice a day. I've suffered trying to keep her plate in place while she eats to no avail. That is, until I found this weighted toddler bowl!! Game changer!! She can eat calmly and quickly because she's not chasing her food around the kitchen. It cleans easily. I love it!!

I got this to use for my pit bull. She is strong and pushes all her bowls around. This one mostly stays in place, even more so than dog food dishes. The small edges help her eat all her wet food. It's much easier to clean than I thought. Everything rinses right off! I will never purchase a regular dog bowl again.
