The extraction is no better than any other 50% still escapes

To fit properly you need to spend another £250 or so on the venting kit which is not mentioned when you buy (had to order from the manufacturer). The venting kit consists of some moulded plastic parts which enable the extract on the rear of the hob to go via the back of the unit and under the plinth. Don’t think those parts seem worth the money you pay! Also you will need to adapt the kitchen unit to accept the ducting. Currently I have it all fitted up and wired in but it does not come on so I am scratching my head as to whether it’s broken or my wiring is bad. The wiring instructions are not great and there are no online videos of anyone fitting in the UK. The black glass is a finger print and mark magnet so will be constantly cleaning it too! Overall for they money I think a lot more consideration could have been put into how you fit the unit and provide better instructions plus I think the venting kit should be included.
