Works well
We installed this above our 14 x 9 patio. It works well and keeps things comfortable in the spring and summer

What a colossal waste of money and time
Thing about those IR heaters is that you can't really test how it will work until you spend time and $$$$ on product and installation. Than you realize how exaggerated the manufacturers claims are. I purchased largest unit WD-6024SS in order to make sure it has plenty of warmth. Even had an expensive control installed in order to "dim" the heater if it gets too warm. It is installed at minimum recommended height of 10 feet above pointing at 45 degree angle at the seating area, open space. Imagine our dismay after all is done and set that we barely feel anything. At about 55F degrees with no wind we had to stand up facing the heater to feel any warmth. Sitting down at the table below and the warmth is barely there at all. Note the IR is only felt on exposed skin and not really heating anything else. I would describe it more as "sensation" of warmth rather than actual warmth. The installation is pretty involved and installation instruction has very little details with no steps outlined or recommended materials. We tried to get help from Infratech but good luck getting it. We were given a phone number and email for engineer and left two voicemails and sent an email with our questions. Waited for 3-4 days for response. Not a peep..Temper your expectations or look elsewhere. Probably gas would be much better solution. It is not a knock on the seller but the product and manufacturer. Heater was delivered fast and in good shape.

From Pleased Electrician
Work great. I Have installed these for many customers. I wouldn't recommend buying the expensive dimmers or switches that they recommend.Us electricians can do a very simple 240-volt stack switch to regulate the high and low. Surprisingly it actually heats up blankets that customers put on them while sitting on patio. But try not to go more than eight feet above customer.Wiring is simple if you know what you're doing.
