Wow... How times have changed....
This helmet doesn't feel any heavier then the one I just replaced, it actually feels lighter. My old one was well over due, I cracked the visor and lost it years ago, and the shell had become brittle over the many years of riding in the sun and the padding inside the helmet all recycled itself under constant sweating, so I was left with a hard foam shell rubbing against my noggin. No luck on finding padding either, locals don't sell it separately.Anyways, I got this and wow it's pretty nifty. it's one solid matte silver plenty of vents and the outside is some lightweight polymer, but seems durable. The inside has all the padding in all the right places, and is removable and washable. Behind the padding is some honeycomb type silicon rubber protection that is soft, but also seems durable. Its more there for impact reasons. The helmet feels really comfortable and I had no issues adjusting the straps or it snagging on my beard. The ratcheting head band adjuster was just fine and holds it's size no issues. Overall an amazing quality and am glad I upgraded it was actually well overdue and dangerous to go so long with the same helmet. I believe I read somewhere that you should replace helmets every 3-4 years. I found no sharp edges, or any manufacturing defects. I'm actually glad that all the clasps for the chin straps and the chin strap cloth are also nice, so I didn't have to whip anything out to correct it. Overall a great find.

Too small for my big head
Didn’t fit my head lol. But otherwise it seemed nice! Maybe they could make it more adjustable though?

Very Comfortable, Great Fit & Easy to Adjust
This is very comfortable & fits my adult head. To measure your head put a tape measure around the widest part (usually right above eyebrows) & around. This helmet is very easy to adjust while wearing. Just turn the knob at the back to tighten/loosen. There are a lot of air vents so keeps your head cool. The visor is removable but I always wear the visor.

Chin strap too short
Chin strap is made too short. My head size falls within listed dimensions.

"Throw-away" helmets -- Foam is removable but not replaceable
The foam strips that make the helmet comfortable are held in place by velcro dots and can be removed for cleaning, but cannot be replaced -- because the manufacturer/importer "Pacific Cycle" did not provide for replacements.
