strong, better than plastic

Good replacement for plastic equivalent.
I have a spray/pressure wand fitted to a garden hose to increase the presuure available from our well water pump. It came with a similar plastic push fit hose connector the thread on which stripped very quickly and led to a serious leak between the hose and the wand. These metal fittings are far more sturdy and leaks are a thing of the past.

Used on my extending hose brush. The fitted plastic one snapped in two in use so found these Brass ones, these will not break.

No good if using an Aquastop connector.
These seem solid clean, but the nozzle isn’t the right profile to engage deep enough into an Aquastop connector. This means no water flows unless you firmly hold the male piece in. Comparing this with other connectors, you can clearly see its profile is 2-3mm short. I’ll be returning it for that reason.
