Pocket size analog battery tester is so simple to use and accurate.
I am a cleaning company and one of my clients is an internet service provider. Every week they throw away battery operated remotes that have been turned in. They leave the batteries in. I started removing and testing the batteries and 99% of them were full and pretty much new. I don't think I'll have to buy AA or AAA batteries ever again! Sometimes those big packages of batteries one buys at stores start losing their oomph after awhile. In seconds I've tested them before sticking them in something. I ended up buying a few of these for friends, and for clients who have vacation rentals.

Not the best battery tester
This design requires a lot of dexterity to place the battery for testing. There are better designs, e.g. theGardner Bender GBT-3502 tester which is much easier to use.
