I bought a cheaper version from a different company and it lasted for a short time. This one is like my old one that still works but it is not cutting as good. This one cuts everything that I have used to cut. A little more expensive than the other ones but I know that it is better quality than the rest. Would recommend.

These are fantastic for cutting through the thick metal wires inside silk flower stems. Thank goodness I no longer have to practically give myself a strain injury and then still bend the wires back and forth a million times to get them to break where I’ve tried to make a cut. These are a one-snip-and-done solution that has saved me a ton of aggravation! Thanks Knipex! You’ve got a customer for life. 👏🏻

This is my first pair of Knipex cutters and they have redefined what I call quality. I have owned what I thought were best quality Swiss made cutters for years but these are far better. I was amazed at how much less effort these tools require to cut wire. Very happy with this purchase.

I put the Crescent’s on my tool belt because they weigh the least; they have sheet metal handles instead of forged handles. All are comfortable to use. The Crescent and OEMTOOLs have springs that open the cutter and catches for storing the tools with the cutter closed. The Klein was a little stiff but after opening and closing many times, they became easier to use with one hand. My favorite, ignoring weight, is the Knipex because it has the longest handles but really, they all work well.

You get what you pay for, and Knipex will always deliver on that. These are my go-to, every day cutters for work. I have the larger ones and these small 7-1/4 inch ones are amazing for fitting into tight spaces. Sharp, solid, cuts like butter. With a set of these, you're set.
