These gloves are not waterproof. I’m sure the gloves will keep the dry ice from burning your skin. When it comes to wet ice, I’m sure your hands will be wet.

Hi and thank you for your question. It's a great question. The thickness does change throughout the glove as there are reinforcements to different areas, but the overall thickness of the base material is 6.35 mm thick. Length and width vary based on the glove size.
