I guess the temperature in Florida is too high for this.
I keep my indoor temp at 76 degrees. I am giving the benefit of the doubt to this product because it was awful at that temperature. However, after reading about calibration, I think it is best done at 68 degrees. Maybe then it will work.

This was so easy to use after I read the instructions to calibrate it. I can't believe I waited this long to buy one. I thought it was going to be complicated.

Not very accurate
Accuracy is off when using different concentrations of pure ethanol/water. Maybe it works better for actual spirits with a tint to them?Decently made and packaged.

Doesn't read wine alcohol content
Works great, tried on all hard liquor drinks. Only reason for 4 star is because I make my own wine at home and for some reason the test results are way off. I tried on store bought and home made

only accurate mid range
works well from 0 to about 50% (100 proof). above that is questionable. had some success diluting the alcohol down 50/50 with water and then taking a reading.
