This mat is not as thick as I thought it would be, in fact it's just 2 layers of fleece with heat reflective insulation material in between them, but it works. It's big enough to fold in half and put on top of another mat ( to give comfortable thickness) . My cat is a big Siamese and it's plenty big enough for him folded in half. I have put it in an alcove in my bedroom above a radiator. My cat loves it and he is cosy, warm and comfortable there. So much, when we call him, he doesn't want to move!

Bought this for my stray who lives in my shed , he took to curling up in a old box of newspapers so I thought I would treat him to one of these , I had noticed his bedding getting slightly damp due to it being in the shed , since I’ve put this in his box with his fresh bedding he’s hardly left the box ! He looks much happier he’s sleeping more so I guess he’s contented comfy & warm guess it’s doing what it should and keeping him warm , it’s good size and quality for the money and I like that it’s washable due to being able to unzip it , the zip looks pretty good quality too . I will def purchase some more of these for my other cats . !

I purchased these self heating sleeping mats for my cats but especially for my male cat as he suffers with his back legs so I was hoping this would help him with a little bit extra warmth but sadly neither of my cats will even stand on the mats let alone sleep on them. I have tried all types of pet beds for both my cats but the only thing they will actually sleep in is a cardboard box, my female cat prefers a larger box but my male prefers a really small box, I have even tried putting these mats in their respective boxes but now they just refuse to get in their box, so I think I will give them to my son so he can see if any of his cats will enjoy them. On the plus side of these sleep mats, they are a good size and as they arrived folded in half they will fit most size cats and up to a medium size dog I would think. They also come in removable covers which will make them easy to keep clean. I had read a couple of the reviews that the sound these beds make when the cat gets on them can put the cat off from getting on them to start with but I did not get to witness if this was the case as my cats did not even put on a single foot on them. I do honestly think I have the silliest of cats, I purchased a heated fleece blanket to help keep me warm in the winter months and did think my cats would enjoy sleeping on that when I have it on - nope - they will not even get on that, so I guess I just have a mother and son cat that are just numpties 😂 The reason I have given a 4* rating is because I think these sleep mats are fantastic value, the quality and thickness is ideal especially if you want to place the mats inside a cat bed or box, sadly I cannot say if they actually do function as intended but the sheepskin type cover will give a certain amount of heat when it is laid on, so the 2 sleep mats I have will go to my sons cats and I hope they will use them.

Such a lovely heated cat bed. My very old cat loved this cover so soft. Great size and look, so pleased I bought another one for a gift for a friend who had a cat.

Its ok - extremely thin and the foil/ foam lining inside is just the same as radiator reflector, only thinner. I've put the foil part inside a fluffy fleece pillowcase as it was cosier

Such a success. Cat loves it. She knew immediately it was for her, the way they do. The cover comes off for easy washing. I'm pretty impressed, and the price was great. It looks ok, simple, white, bobbly fur- not super luxurious, but soft and fleecy and the cat likes it a lot. I was glad to know she was being kept a bit warmer on cold winter nights because the electrically heated blanket we got her was overkill - she got too hot- and it also colour transferred on my furniture! This is so much simpler and better- it was just what we needed.

My cats love this warming mat. They spend most of the day sleep on it. Easy to clean and had a very soft texture.
