Great tool for lines.
After watching a You-Tube video, my husband was able to successfully utilize this tool for the ends of a line going on our bubbler. It worked GREAT!!

Works great on my hollow braid polypropylene rope
My first fid. I'm using on 1/4 to 3/8 hollow braid polypropylene rope. Works great for making end loops, even though I'm a splicing newbie.

It works wonders if you get the correct style of rope

Does the job
Sturdy, does the job, edges could use more polishing. Handle would be better tapered to cone section rather than deforming the cone section to the handle. Tip is flattened, not sure that is useful.
