Kalmbach Feeds All Natural Poultry Block, 25 Lb

The media could not be loaded.  Christmas gift for my hens!Very solid packed with seeds and grains and my hens are beginning to make some headway on chipping away at it now. I started them out by gouging it some with a screwdriver as it was so hard and new to them but they are catching on now. I think it will be a great winter time treat and keep them busy on snowy days indoors.

My chickens love this. It arrived quickly. It turns their yolks dark orange. It keeps them busy while I'm gone to work all day. Five chickens finish it off in a month, so it's a little pricey but worth it.

I bought this as a "Christmas present" for my chickens (mostly because it makes my kids happy). It's a good weight, not so heavy as to be hard to haul out to the coop, but big enough it took the chickens a while to get the whole thing eaten. It's a nice boredom buster for them when the weather is nasty, too.

I've bought these in the past from other places and they were moldy. This one was very fresh and my chickens love it.

The chickens liked it but it is so cemented/compacted together that they had a really difficult time getting anything out of it. A few time I had to go out with a chisel and hammer to try and get bits off for them to enjoy.

Came as expected - my chickens don't seem overly thrilled with it .I thought that they would love it . Might be just my picky chickens

This is a great product, especially in the winter when there is less access to the "outdoors" and free ranging. It is very solid so keeps them occupied as they peck away at it for hours. We have 8 chickens and it lasts about 3 weeks - month when they have access to other areas to forage. Be ware, the squirrels love it too! We have 2 fat and happy squirrels living with our chickens now! The last block went much more quickly, now that the chickens/squirrels figured out how to co-habitate together.... What do you do :)

My chickens love this! They have been slowly picking away at it for over a week. I have 6 hens and they’ve gone about 1/4 way through it. This should last 3-4 weeks.
