Great sword prop for a samurai influenced cosplay. No need to worry, the sword is not metal based so you can bring this to cons/public events. The stand, belt with holder and the sword/sheath itself are all in good quality without any damage. My only nitpick is that the ribbon on the sheath isn't the right color (should be dark blue instead of pale yellow) for Vergil cosplay accuracy, but other than that it serves as a good prop with everything you need and more. It's also almost 3.5 feet tall too so its not too long but also a decent length without it being too short and silly looking. I like being able to pull it out and put it back in again in one quick motion.

Got this for a Halloween costume: it looks great and is high quality. Even has a lot of extras like a belt holder and sword holder for a shelf.

I've had this now for a couple months. Prior to the con, I wanted to convert it to the DMC 5 variant. Had I known the handle could come off this would've been easier. For the price, it's good for a prop. Unless you feel like drilling a hole for the tang's hole that is already there, but not had anything pressed through, you'll be dealing with some issues. The blade paint flaked off and I had to put aluminum tape over the whole thing instead because I got splinters. The end cap on the bottom came off (which is fine, it was then turned into the cap for DMC 5's varient). All in all, it's an okay prop, but as you can see, it has a lot of potential since with some time and patience, it can be taken apart.Also, the blade/inside of the saya has an odd paint smell. Not like fresh walls paint, but more like some sort of cheap paint. Aluminum tape got rid of the smell though. You shouldn't have to do that though.

I ordered this at part of a DMC Vergil Halloween costume for my son. I was actually really impressed with this sword. It doesn't look like it's wooden but it absolutely is, which makes it safe for ComiCons. Only negative (which isn't really the manufacturer's fault) is that the sheath got damaged in transit and has a ever so slight bow to it now. Honestly it kinda adds to its character and makes it look more like it's actually seen battle. lol
