40dB Large Button Phone With 911 Key

I typically wait to write reviews until I see how the product works, and this is A+ all the way around. I purchased it for my 94-year-old mother who's suffering from severe macular degeneration (and a detached retina poor girl), and extreme hearing loss. Not only does she see the big buttons well, we both hear each other clearly due to the amplification. She's particularly thrilled with upper buttons for two major callers (me and my brother) and 911 -- she just has to be careful not to hit the red one in the middle. But since we've taught her how to feel the different buttons, it really hasn't been a problem. Everything the write-up says the phone can do it does it in spades!

The size of the numbers and the volume of the handset are excellent for elderly people who have vision and hearing problems. The one difficulty is that the ringer itself is fairly low-volume and faint - even when turned up to maximum.

Cheaper plastic than I wanted. Great sound and hearing. Good packaging. Came in good condition.

The numbers are perfect! My 93 year-old mother can now dial her relatives in Italy by herself! She’s so happy!

I bought this phone for my moms 88 birthday. This was the 2nd phone I purchase cause the 1st one ringer was not loud enought. This one came in and it does not work work at all. I live in WV and she lives in Florida. This is so hard trying to get something that works. I have siblings living with her so I know it is getting hooked up correctly.
