Good kit fun build,

I enjoy building armored Vehicles, and this company make s great kits to buy. I found a good priced kit so i grabbed it.

1/35のシャーマンは結構製作していますが、1/48ではこれが2体目です。イギリス陸軍ということで、通常（アメリカ軍）とはちょっと色味を変えて作ってみたいなと思い購入しました。このモデルは履帯が特徴的ですが、良い感じで仕上がりますね。印象としては1/48MMシリーズ（初期のダイキャストタイプ）という感じで、特に引っ掛かりなく簡単に組みあがりました。写真状態（サフ吹き→塗装→デカール貼り→軽いウェザリング→トップコート）までなら、4時間くらいかと。一か所、前面左（本来機銃がある側）の防護用の鉄板周り（？）の組み合わさり方が説明書ではイマイチわからず、接着後に一度はがして付け直した、、という記憶がありますが、その他では特段悩むこともないか、1/48MM定番の、、というような感じかと思います。組み立て簡単な部類になると思います。1/48MMの若番はベースがダイキャスト（グレーのサーフェイサーが吹いてある）で、あとからのプラ＋おもりタイプとは違って重量感があるものの、接着は瞬間接着剤やBBXが必要であったりするので、無塗装でそれっぽく仕上げたい方にはちょっと向かないかなと思います。私はねじ止めがあるおかげで仮組検討がしやすい点で嫌いではないですが。

Delivery was great; it arrived a day early.In addition to the hull being made of metal, the tracks are actually moving parts.The instructions, also available online as a PDF, detail necessary and optional paints, as well as clear multilingual instructions. From my brief inspection, the English looked coherent and comprehensible.Very nice level of detail, too. I'm not a tank buff so I can't really criticise that much, but my dad and I, having visited war memorials across Europe and watched more than our share of documentaries, are interested in military history, and for what it's worth, the level of detail's good enough for us.Overall, a very nice model, suitable for those a bit longer in the tooth with less than 20/20 eyesight and an interest in cool boy stuff.
