Will this work well for AT&T U-verse?

Works great on U-Verse. I saw a small but quantifiable boost in internet speeds over the cable they originally used during installation.

Would work with and adsl modem router?

I have used a similar cable for my CenturyLink C1000A and C1900A routers. This cable would also be an upgrade for old internal phone wiring (un-shielded twisted pair).

I ordered this rj11(6ft). I received rj12(7ft) both had the #28721. will this rj12 work?.

Physically they are the same connector, so if an RJ11 plug will fit into a socket, then an RJ12 could instead.Where they differ is the wiring. RJ11 has wires to 4 of the 6 pins, where as RJ12 uses all 6. Yes, I believe it will.
