IFor best experience Get the App
The Oxygen Audio oCar is a revolutionary new stereo built around the Apple iPhone. With this universal stereo, you can place calls, navigate and even watch videos like you would on other aftermarket stereos. Included is a wired microphone for clear and distortion free Bluetooth phone calls while on the road. There are 3 sets of 2-volt RCA outputs that can be used to add multiple amplifiers into your car audio system. With the download of the Oxygen Audio applications from the iTunes store, you gain a 3-band equalizer as well as separate subwoofer control, balance and fade. With these apps, you can even tune into your local radio stations, or listen in on national programs. The oCar supports navigation while playing music, just as your iPhone does. The included case will aid your iPhone in staying secure when it is attached to the stereo. Look no further, this universal head-unit is the perfect in-dash solution for the every day Apple iPhone user!

Minimal with good sound and design. Poor apps and phone calls
Sound quality is quite good. Design is minimal and simple to use. I like using the phone interface over other radio interfaces and also like that I can use any app to play through the speakers. The software (app) UI is terrible but once I setup my radio stations and sound settings once, I haven't had to go back to it. If you like to "play" with the radio stations, you might hate it.One more 'con' is phone calls are not the best experience. I don't have a Bluetooth device, so taking calls don't run through the car speakers and I have to hit the "speaker" mode on the phone itself. (like if you set it on a table) Luckily I don't like to talk and drive so I rarely take calls.App versatility and sound quality are great. Oxygen Audio Apps and phone calls... Suck.

Half-baked
The Ocar iPhone Radio is alright. It's nice that the phone can swivel into either portrait or landscape mode, but the arm and hinge allowing this functionality were very quick to loosen up and not respond to a bit of tightening. The result is a phone which angles downward always, unless it is in landscape and clicked into the non-moving setting.I upgraded to an iPhone 5 approximately six months after installing Ocar. The new iPhone doesn't fit the Ocar, but I knew this before I upgraded phones. The actual fit doesn't matter, because of the general floppiness of that part, as I mentioned above. So to use the new iPhone with Ocar I got a dashboard mount from quadlockcase.com and a Dock-Connector-to-Lightning adapter from Apple. It's not the most attractive solution but it works.Aside from physical design, the Ocar works fantastically. My favorite feature is the built-in Bluetooth and included microphone. It makes phone conversations while driving very simple, and call quality from both ends of the connection is adequate to good.Sometimes, for unknown reasons, an iPhone connected to the Ocar will display an alert informing me that "Charging is not supported with this accessory." and the phone will send audio through the Ocar just fine but the Ocar will not charge the phone. Most times it charges just fine and there seems to be no method or pattern to this improper behavior. It's never occurred when charging my phone was of critical importance, however, so I haven't been too frustrated with it.There are some companion apps developed by Oxygen Audio and available for free through Apple's App Store which add equalizer and radio tuning functionality. The apps are atrocious to look at and use, and so I don't ever launch them. Not a huge drawback (I have very little desire to listen to a radio broadcast, ever) but certainly not a good enough experience to bother listing it as a feature. The Oxygen Audio website is crummy, and seriously lacking in product information. Most times I've attempted to access it, the site hasn't even been running. I'm not confident enough in the company to say they've got their shtt together, and will likely put more effort into finding a product from another manufacturer should I ever choose to upgrade my car stereo again. If it weren't for Amazon, I would have avoided this product altogether as their website does anything but inspire confidence in the company or their product.Am I pleased with it, overall? Yeah, I suppose I am. It works well for what I expect of it, and its drawbacks are things I'm content to overlook.

Great concept!!!!!
I had this system installed on my 2004 Nissan Sentra. I had to make slight modifications to the dash kit since this system is an import from France.(bigger) Once installed it was great having the I phone 4 in view. You can listen to Pandora while working on other apps or your navigation system running at the same time. The system charges your phone while connected, at some point it stopped charging my phone. I had to get a replacement then that went bad after. I don't have it anymore because I upgraded to the I phone 5, they don't support the new connector. I hope in time they will come up with a system that is I phone 5 compatible. I would consider buying the next update system.

Great idea but .....needs work
Ya it is cool and does look cool. But, radio function is poor. If on, then no iPhone audio...ie no turn by turn directions from map programs. Also, antenna line /wire is alway hot....so, antenna is always up. Why put antenna wire if it is not controlled by radio app.Bluetooth is nice....If mount is extended, you cant type on it....finger press moves phone.I had a pos eom radio, This is going to be a nice improvement. Just wish it was more refined. Not ready for prime time

As a head unit this is terrible. an iPhone is way too small and while your car is moving good luck hitting the right buttons. Other then that, doesn't save settings, maybe i wired it wrong but seems like i have to reset everything every time i turn this thing on.Not to mention that now that the new iPhone 5 is out this product is outdated. Since i no longer have an iPhone 4 this is completely obsolete. Now i have to buy a new head unit. I was quite stupid for buying this thing.
