Great new features! No PoE…
The migration function worked well with just a single motion sensor needing reconnection. Just be mindful if you are using in a HomeKit environment you will have to add the hub back in to Apple Home and reset any automations featuring your lights. The Controller for HomeKit app is a great help for finding the automations that have disappeared and adding extra conditions not found in Apple Home. Connecting to Apple Home via Matter now gives the ability to add Hue scenes to Apple Home, that’s a great bonus! However, back to Hue, the new Motion aware feature is great allowing you to create simple motion on/off automations with great sensitivity controls. I’m sure over time more features could be added to allow more complex automations. I would like to see a no motion/do this rather than just time based options to create a true occupancy sensor. The Wi-Fi option is a nice addition, long overdue, although not required for me. At one point I was running two bridges to get all the devices in. I live in a 2 bed apartment so I could see larger houses running out of capacity quickly, however the this new hub triples the device count so hopefully no need for multiple hubs in the future. The build quality is solid. I’m sure over time they’ll be deals which bring down the cost. It’s powered by USB-C and my only complaint, losing a star, is no PoE.

A Must Have!
If you have hue smart lights, this hub is a must! First up, this needs to be plugged into your router, it does not work directly over WiFi. Fortunately an ethernet cable is supplied! Easy to install and configure via the app, the instructions are straight forward. Despite having an Alexa with a built in app, the control you get with this bridge and app greatly exceeds what can be done via the Alexa App. The build quality is good, despite its small size. So can be discretely tucked away out of site. Once installed, it's great at picking up any lights (make sure they are on). The built in wizards will allow you to add groups which can then be controlled either via the app or Alexa. It just works. Great piece of kit. Just a shame more colours are not available to fit in with the decor.

Faster than older model
Works much better than older version. The speed is very noticeably quicker. Game changer having all the devices on one hub and the WiFi works very well. I'm unsure with the presence sensing it works but not smitten with it.
