5.5 Inch Spider Strainer with Wood Handle, Pasta Strainer Skimmer Ladle for Kitchen Cooking Frying Food (5.5Inch/14cm)

I find the chip basket difficult to move chips around in the hot oil, in fact I gave up making chips. Frozen chips are very greasy, no matter which make you buy. By using a good quality oil, turning the chips with this amazing tool, and taking them out once they've cooked, we now have healthy chips with our fish on a Friday. This is an inexpensive and very useful tool for lifting anything out of any liquid in the kitchen.

Brilliant for pasta, and anything else that needs removing from hot water. I'd imagine it'd be great for dealing with deep fried things too. It's a great size for medium and large pans and works perfectly for spaghetti and linguine as well as short pasta. It's taken me 20 years of adulthood to purchase something like this, but it's far far better than the "pasta strainer" spoon you usually find. This particular strainer is nice and tight so nothing falls through, though rice/orzo probably wouldn't work (not that it'd be practical anyway for those!) Highly recommend.

The Strainer Skimmer Spoons have been a useful addition to my kitchen for cooking and frying. The wooden handle provides a comfortable grip, and the wire skimmer strainer is perfect for pasta, spaghetti, and other tasks. The 6.3-inch/16CM size is just right for my needs. Functionally, it works very well and adds a touch of elegance to my cooking utensils. It's also incredibly easy to use, making my cooking experience more enjoyable. Additionally, it has a good weight that feels balanced in my hand. However, I have to mention that it's a bit pricy and not the best value for money. Despite that, it's a quality product that I would recommend.

It was a splurge with shipping 2x the cost of the item, but there is nothing like it available on Amazon or elsewhere in the US. It arrived speedily and exceeded expectations in terms of design and quality of construction. Now hoping that it works as well as we'd like and is a durable as it seems.

I've had this for nearly a year and a half and use it all the time. The wooden handle is sturdy.

Good size for large wok but will also work with smaller versions, easy clean and well made.
