One of my new favorites!!
The media could not be loaded. I wasn't expecting a lot when it came to getting books for my son, but this book pleasantly surprised me! I'm trying to help my son build his confidence and lower his anxiety, when we read this book he was SO engaged and wanting to be apart of everything that was being explained! The writing is spot on and super helpful and it's easy for the kids to understand what the book is trying to say! I especially love at the end there are positive affirmation cards that you can copy or scan and print for the kids to physically have everyday! I'm definitely ordering more!

Book review for, “confidence is my superpower“
I like these books that the author has written to help children gain positive skills in life. This one is about confidence. A young boy named Leo doesn’t feel confident about his skills. He thinks he’s not a good artist or a good basketball player. His parents are very supportive and encouraging. He feels loved at home. His mother helps him with his art project to build a spaceship. His father helps him do some basketball drills to gain confidence in his basketball game. Leo also stands up for a boy who is being teased who is on the basketball team. This friendship leads to a nice partnership where they both practice their basketball skills together.Leo is feeling confident and gaining skills to help him in school and sports. This book is a nice reminder for even us adults! As a child I was extremely shy and lacked confidence myself. Having a nurturing home and access to books like this can really make a difference for children.

Motivational
This book can motivate not only a kid but also an adult to take action even when things seem down. This is a great reminder to do unto others as you would want them to do unto you

TAKING CHARGE
Leo is a little boy with self-esteem problems. The reader meets him after Leo has a particularly bad day with his basketball game. Leo feels he has no talent in sports or art. His parents tell him to try his best and use his imagination. He begins to feel more self-confident after taking a few basketball lessons, but that doubt is always present. Through hard work and his parents' love, Leo learns to be responsible, brave, helpful, and supportive to others.I especially like the affirmation cards enclosed that provide a support base for children who have self-esteem issues. The only reason I knocked off one star is that the size of the text in the kindle edition is difficult to read even when enlarged and, at times, the rhymes seem a bit forced.

Help your kids develop self-esteem
That is surely a very beautiful story that will help your children feel better about themselves, let them feel accepted and loved.Personally, I think that this book has no age. It can even help adults when they need a little faith in themselves.I really enjoyed how becoming confident can be delivered through a kid's story. Thank you, Alicia, for this wonderful addition to your "Superpower" series.

Great way to talk to kids about self-confidence
Although my daughter is slightly older than the target audience for this book, I handed it to her to read and she was very impressed with the exercises provided for kids. A lovely way to convey the concept of self-confidence to kids and beautifully illustrated.
