I have a chance that his crazy about comics, especially Garfield comics! He snuck this into my shopping cart, and then he paid me back later. I didn't imagine that it would be all that great, but he's read through this repeatedly! You've got to know your audience, of course. If you're buying this for a friend or family ever, then you'll probably be dealing with someone who's quite a comedian! 😅Anyhow, it's well liked!JijP.S. this is one of the comic strips my son found hilarious! I always loved Garfield. I love that my daughter loves Garfield as well. She watches the old and new shows, and she loves the comic style books. This is a good one!

There are many of these compilations of Garfield and this is one of the good ones that I've found so far. We'd borrowed it from the library so many times that it was worth it just to get our own copy. These are a great way to while a way the time and get into a better mood.

These Garfield books are the best! They are such a good value! My child enjoys reading these and I often hear him laughing out loud from his bedroom. Planning to buy more in the near future!

Larger sized Garfield comics in color…great for kids in 2nd grade and up and adults. Highly recommend.There is hope for the future if we can get more kids to understand and laugh at Garfield humor. My son has read through this a few times over the last 6 months he’s had it. It cracks him up. We all enjoy these classic Garfield comics.

Fun books! Great color graphics. Kids love them! Only criticism is that the cover is not strong enough to handle this big of a book, it just wants to come apart.

I got a couple of these Garfield collections for my 7-year-old son. This one includes the original 3 books, which is a collection of the comic strips that appeared in the funnies section of the newspaper. Pretty much foreign concepts to my boy. I read these as a kid, at least through the first 10 or so. While the original books were black and white, all strips here are in color, and not just the large Sunday ones. The humor is definitely dated, maybe not entirely politically correct anymore, and there are a lot of things I need to explain to my son about everyday things that you don't really see anymore. It's crazy how different the world is now! Much of the humor still comes through a few generations later, though.
