Kryptonite Kryptoflex Looped Cables - 4'/--

I bought this not too long ago after much research regarding the best locks for bikes. I gave it 5 stars because it has held up nicely rain or shine combined with the U-lock I bought to go with it. I highly recommend this product to anyone that's looking for good quality cable to lock up a bike. As a college student, I haven't found any difficulty packing it up, I don't feel it weighs very much, and I am certain that my bike is protected. Plus, as a female, I have confidence I can use it for defense if necessary. It's worth the investment.

This is an excellent sturdy cable. I prefer the 7 ft version since it is easier to lock up both tires. However, this one is good if you are securing the frame and one tire. Bends nicely to fit in the bag on my rear bike rack. Excellent product.

Excellent cable. I use it in conjunction with the Kryptonite Evolution 4 chain. I use this cable to lock my front wheel and then insert the Kryptonite Evolution 4 chain through it. Unfortunately, the cable is too thick to put through my seat but since my seat does not have a quick release lever, I was not too worried about it. When not in use, I use the velcro strap that it comes with and wrap it around my seat. I then put my chain on top of it so that it does not move around too much when I am biking through trails. Overall, its a great cable to use with a bigger chain.

Secure your bike a bit more with this in addition to a nice U-bolt lock

Use it with my U lock for the front wheel of my bicycle. It is sturdy and is slight weighted. Its length is just enough to go from my front wheel till the lock on the back wheel of my XL frame bicycle, so don't expect that you can wind it around a pillar or something for extra protection.

I use this with my krptonite fuhgettaboutit lock and it's perfect. I loop it through the front tire and frame of my bike an insert one end through the other to extend it to reach my lock on the back frame. It is very thick and would take a lot of strength and time to cut through it. I would recommend this cable to use with a heavy duty lock.

4 feet might be enough for a BMX bike.I would return it but it is not worth the shipping. Make sure you measure before you buy

Not your average cable lock. Hard to cut. Thieves move on to the next bike with the cheapo knock-offs. My daughter goes to school in one of the bike theft capitals of the U.S. When she is in a location that is sketchier or where her bike will be locked for a longer time, she augments the Kryptonite U-Lock with this cable to secure her front wheel as well. So far, Daughter X, Thieves 0.
