Light weight, versatile, easy to use
Great product. This was my third purchase. One for myself and 2 for friends.

The insight you should know
•doesn’t have an overwhelmingly loud noise when in-use•has two power options to choose between, the 12v car port or 120v 3-prong plug.•recommends to run your car engine if using it via the 12-volt port for best results that way.!Does point out that you should give the pump a 10-minute break after 3-minutes of continuous use so as to not overheat it too much. otherwise it handles most applications with little to no issues.+the Auto psi shutoff feature is an awesome feature to have•psi accuracy is within +/- 2psi, Max load being 100psi, ideally, I wouldn't go any higher than 85-90psi just to be on the safe side.•very solid unit for the price•airflow is fairly fast at low psi, takes a bit longer around 35 and higher but moves along. It’s better than anything I’ve had before this.

Well made, heavy duty pump, worth spending the money !
We had this same pump for a number of years, and when it finally gave out, it was replaced by a cheaper pump; it wasn’t ac/dc, had no storage for the cords or adapters, and cheaply made. That’s when we realized just how well made this pump is compared to others. We love that it self stores the adaptors, cords and cables, and that it is ac/dc. We can use it at the car for car and bike tires, or pump up pool floats on the deck. We use it often during the warmer months and need a reliable pump. With the handles it’s easy to pick up. It’s more expensive than many others but well worth it !

Finally, A Well Designed Portable Air Compressor
Whoever design this thing was one smart cookie. Yea, it looks strange, because function was the primary design criteria. Making it look "pretty" was not part of the equation. The results are a portable air compressor that is a pleasure to use. It has storage compartments built-in to the unit so you don't have to go searching for that basketball adaptor, it's right there. The X-design makes this unit stable on all four sides, so when you need to pull out the inflation hose, you just flip the unit over so that the little door covering the inflation hose is on top. Time to plug it into the car's cigarette ligher? Just flip the unit over so that the little door covering that power cord is on top. Want to use 120V AC instead, well the power cord for that is securely stored on the back. The digital readout and the auto-shutoff are a major bonus. The only thing I can't comment on is how long this thing will last. In my experience, portable air compressors don't seem to last more than two or three years. Hopefully, this one was built to last a long time. Only time will tell. If it dies in less than four years, I'll post an update.

It's the little things...
I wanted an electric air compressor for my garage so I can keep my car tires properly inflated. Even when new they lose 1-2 PSI per month and my gas mileage suffers. Finding one that ran on 120v and had a digital pressure gauge was surprisingly hard.Pros:* Digital tire pressure gauge that shows pressure of tire before starting to inflate (although unit has to have power).* Set desired pressure and it pumps until it reaches it, then automatically shuts off.* Quick connect hose coupling makes it easy to connect the air hose to the tire.* Nice storage compartments for adapters (for bicycle tires, balls, and other inflatables), air hose, and 12v cord.* Not terribly loud.* Lightweight.Cons:* Air hose is only about 2 feet long.* 120v power cord is only about 22 inches long. Combined with the short air hose, this makes it useless on 120v without an extension cord (the 12v cord is long enough to get you around the car).* No on/off switch. Plug it in and it's on, you have to unplug it to turn it off. (There is an switch for the compressor, but the air pressure gauge and backlights will remain on as long as it is plugged in.)* Difficult to stuff the 12v cord and air hose back into their storage compartments.* Doors to storage compartments do not close securely. Very easy for them to pop open.* Only claims accuracy to +/- 2 PSI. My unit seems to be within 1 PSI as best as I can tell, but I don't have anything I'm really confident in to compare it to.* Shut-off pressure is, of necessity, the pressure in the hose while it is pumping. After the pump shuts off the pressure can drop some. Inflating tires to 36 PSI the pressure dropped down to 35.5 after the pump shut off.Overall I think this works reasonably well if you intend to keep it in your car and use it on the road, but there are much cheaper options if that is your situation. For having something in the garage that you can plug into the wall, I had to spend another $15 on an extension cord and I really don't like that I can't keep it plugged in. For auto tires or bicycle tires the short air hose is not a huge problem, but I could see it being a bigger issue with blowing up rafts or air beds or other large items.
